I will miss Pat's funky outfits....not sure where she got them, but they were always funky and kinda like something from the jetsons :o) Fritz is boring, and in LA....how lame :o)

They eliminated the entire department.

The SD weather reports are all done from LA studios, and that is why you see the LA guys on now.

What a giant mistake to get rid of Pat Brown! No one does weather like her. This reminds me of how the Union Tribune is now so watered down- why bother??? You have lost me as a viewer of late night news. Very tacky having an L.A. weather person reporting on local San Diego weather! I will switch to either Channel 8 or Channel 10. I certainly hope you will consider bringing Pat Brown back!

This is ridiculous, not to have an SD weather person. They should have chosen someone from TJ, it's closer than LA.

I've given it some time and I'm not liking the 'new version' of weather reporting on KNSD. Essentially, they've outsourced the weather broadcast...why would the public support that? And it's painfully obvious that this guy is not about San Diego. I thought Pat Brown did a good job, brought some charm and personality to the evening news and also represented KNSD beautifully in the community. Bring her back

We miss Pat Brown and we noticed that we no longer tune in. Forget the rude comments above - they want UFC-style weather - and they probably don't even go outside.

Pat Brown was the only class act on NBC SD, I'll miss her. Marty looks like he is constantly constipated and Susan only loosens up when Marty is gone, which can't be too soon. Now they bring in Fritz from NBC LA which has to be a demotion for him. Instead watch KUSI which now has Alan who came from NBC in SFO and Heather, they have to be the best looking and most relaxed news 6 PM team in SD, too bad they are on a 2nd tier station, they deliver a good news, watch them for a change.
Fritz is NOT replacing Pat Brown. This is a new cost cutting measure by NBC Universal, which owns KNSD. The weather, and probably soon the sports, is now being done via the hub they have with KNBC. So Fritz is now doing the weather for San Diego, from LA. He still works at KNBC. He just has more work to do now having to do weathercasts for 2 different markets. NBC may soon be doing the same with their other owned and operated stations in Chicago, Dallas, and Miami.
What a rip-off

I have never seen so much of the LA weather map since Fritz took over.
I don't give a darn about what is happening in LA. Pat Brown did San Diego weather and cared about San Diego. Just another step in the wrong direction!
Terrible!!!!!!!

Wow, I don't know how I stumbled upon this forum but I'm glad I did. I have been in W. PA for a while now and didn't know that KOGO was KOGO again. My dad worked as the evening anchorman, weatherman, and sportscaster (doing the commercials in between) back then. He moved up the corporate ladder but I still miss those days.(Zoorama, etc.)

As for Marty Levin? I was SO in love with him.:)

And I was one lucky lady to celebrate a New Year's Eve with him. A great spaghetti dinner, too.

Glad to hear he's still working. Not all are so lucky, eh?

Daily Horoscope for December 25

Aries

You've got a taste for adventure today, so you might decide to depart from tradition in some way and make it an unusual Christmas. You're certainly all set for a great time, and you'll want everyone else to enjoy themselves as much as possible. You'll probably eat and drink too much but, hey, it's Christmas! Isn't such excess par for the course?
