There has not been a mistrial declared. In my opinion, I do not think this judge will declare one.
There's a slim chance on appeal that one might be declared...but I think this judge has pretty much seen about all that he cares to see...and is ready to sentence.

I was wondering if anyone knew if he was sentenced yet? On the Sheriff's page, it only indicates that there was a sentencing hearing set for 3/27/08. Can someone please reply? thanks.

I believe a separate, later date will be set for sentencing if the motion for a new trial is denied.

My girlfriend had move out of the state to get away from Mike. I was there when he broke into her house. I called the police and they came and escorted Mike off the property. This doesn't seem like the actions of a crazy person? He also openly bragged about he was making so much money dealing drugs. I would run into him from time to time in PB...believe me I tried to avoid every interaction. He got worse and worse. This doesn't surprise me at all that this is IN HIS NATURE. I have known him since college...he has always been a possessive person and gets crazy when any person talks to what he believes belongs to him (IE my friend). I was glad she moved out of the state to get away from him. He's crazy.

Let's face it,a jury is 12 people who were not smart enough to get out of jury duty and we leave lives in the hands of the lesser than.

I'm not just a very close friend of Sullys,but I did 95% of his tattoos,bought his bike and stay in contact with him so I will make sure at least on my end that Sully gets whatever he is allowed to have right down to a ride home when his sentence is over!F the courts!

I find it pathetic that no charges have been brought up against Nicole Hayes for her part in this.It was her actions and big mouth that set things off that night.Inciting violence which causes death can't be ignored.
