It's easy to justify killing when you have a badge. It's a good thing there's a law that says if a cop gets carried away, a citizen can legally kill him. This is good to know...

I feel bad for most cops, having to deal with people that have your mentality! Personally if I met a cop or football player at their chosen profession, I dont think I or you would fare to well. Getting into a gun fight with a cop sounds like a really bad idea, but you go ahead.

You give cops too much credit, they couldn't shoot or fight their way out of a wet paper bag. That's why you see most cops are so morbidly obese and they need 20 cops to take down one skinny woman. They rely on back up, takes 100 cops to take down one guy, what a joke.

I think anyone with a fair amount of training would do pretty damn good against a gun fight with these morons. Without backup, they are nothing and without the badge they are nothing. Fortunately there are trained citizens who are not intimated by the fake plastic badge and are the real protectors.

Cops are on the wrong side of the law and people are starting to realize this.

I went to a range and watched these police games and I was impressed with the skill set of these guys with a firearm. I own a firearm and I think I am a pretty safe and efficient guy with it, but these guys were at a different level, thats like saying you or I could beat Lebron James or Kobe Bryant in a pick up game, I dont think they could match me in my chosen field. I just hear a lot of bitterness coming from people about cops and It cant all be true, in my 42 years on this earth I have had no bad experiences with cops, sure I thought a couple of times this guy(cop) is a jerk but then again Im sure people think the same about me or the wal mart employee, or the teacher , or doctor etc... My 3 4 year old son met a cop at his preschool and this guy made a point to wait until I picked up my kid to tell me how polite and bright my kid is, Im not defending all cops but sounds to me like a little jealousy from some folks

So every bad worker in America should in every type of job. Every bad worker waits until they get fired.
These "cops" enter these positions knowing their duties and responsibilities as enforcers of the law and maintainers of the peace. Every worker in America does not enter a career with such demands from the public and the government. These individuals have chosen their careers, an important one at that, and are to be expected to abide by the law, remain civil and respect others. You will not garner any amount of respect if you see police officers acting out of order or going 40 down a 25mph road just because they can. You obviously do not know of law enforcement which entails a whole different degree of responbility and expectations compared to the sandwich maker in Subway!

to serve and protect means the cops watch out for each other but NOT the public especially if you are poor or ethnic.

proof that cops are corrupt...

You had a bad day, you're driving home and come to a stop sign, instead of waiting until the car comes to a full and complete stop you wait to almost a full stop then go, no cars around, no pedestrians, zero traffic. Mr Pig pulls you over and writes you a ticket, you tell him your aunt just died or your got distracted by the girl with the tight ass shorts (insert more reasons), etc he doesn't care, he writes you the ticket that's going to cost you money you can't afford. Does Mr Pig give a shit ? No! Could he have let you off with a warning ? Yes! Will he ? No!!! Why ? Because he's a corrupt pig who only cares about making the city rich.

Driving 3 miles over the speed limit ? Here's your ticket sir, have a nice day....

This is just one scenario out of many where the cop could and should give you a break but doesn't. Cops treat everyone, even little old ladies as criminals.

And they wonder why nobody likes cops...

Yeah. Youíre spot on with your observation. Of course there are a few bad ones in with the vast majority of good ones. I think many young guys took the job on because they wanted to make a difference and perhaps when the idealism of it all became nothing but smoke and mirrors, they became a little disillusioned. By and large though, if I were being throttled in an alley, or had some yahoo holding a gun to my head as I was reaching for my wallet, I canít think of anyone Iíd be happier to see than a cop.

Yeah but then the reality sets in and you are the one laying on the ground dead and the cops wouldn't get there until hours later. I'm guessing you don't know the way cops work lol The cops don't show up until after a woman gets butt raped. Good luck waiting for the cop to come to the rescue.

The reason there are so many violent and abusive police is because that line of work tends to attract the sadistic as well as those trying to make a difference. Police work attracts a lots of power hungry, control freaks that like to hold a gun at someones head and push them around or who look for an excuse to shoot them. A lot of cops hate the poor and the disadvantaged/minorities and know they are weak and vulnerable. Some cops are racists and bigots. A lot are liars and will do anything to cover up their own illegal behavior.
Never trust a police officer if they stop you or pull you over, anywhere in the U.S. Have a cell phone or something that is recording and call your lawyer, quickly. Cops have been known to shoot people for reaching for their wallet or for having a spoon in their hands.
Especially the San Diego police. They shoot and kill people all the time here and get away with it.

I just find it odd that it is always the cops fault! They cant all be bad, just like the people they deal with cant all be good. So no one is ever wrong , no one speeds, or robs, or does anything wrong, having spent somme time overseas I dare you to go to another country and start talking smack to a cop,

If you don't pause long enough at a stop sign, some dumb red neck cop will pull you over and write you a ticket, is that corruption enough for you? While he's writing a ticket for you waiting 3 seconds instead of 4, some poor girl is getting butt raped down the street.

if cops killed a any as they could, you would be surprised. Some cops do get away with unnecessary shootings. All they need is he fearr belief of fear of a fatal threat. They are quietly weeded out unlike......politicians,,,,,an d worse yet DOCTORS. Dont believe me, check the published unbiased stats.....Cops are human like judges....over paid and biased

This is one subject that really gets my blood to
boil. I could probably write a book about thug cops. Since I was a toddler I have seen what the police were like especially as it pertained to people of color and poor people.

The only time that I ever got respect from them was when I told them that I would kill them, and it was only then that I got them to understand.
There was one time we had to surround them and let them know that we were not going to play any games
with them as far as them comming into our neighborhood and making our kids take their shoe off in the snow while they (the cops) stand around
laughing at them. I've to stand toe to toe and fight cops who thought that they could do anything
that they wanted to do and get away with it.

I do believe that there are some good cops out there but I also believe that alot of them are afraid of the bad ones and what they might do to them if they speak out against the sysyematic corruption that is within the police department itself. I have friends who are cops and correction
officers who tell us stories about their fellow workers that would make your blood chill. Because much of the population is very naive and uninformed
about the police department and it's corruption, these problems are going to escalate as time goes on.

To all of you I leave this warning: Evil flourishs when good men stand by and do nothing!

How many people in this country will be robbed, raped, and murdered by the police. How many false claim of resisting arrest and assaulting and officer will destroy the lives of people through out this country before we finally say that enough is enough. It has become so bad that there now are people who are thinking about making citizens arrest on police officers who display violent sociophatic behavior. I for one am not naive to the ways of some of these twisted creatures who use their authority
to abuse the public that they are sworn to protect.

In 1969 on a mild winter night, I was robbed by the police for my
last few dollars that I had in my pocket. I couldn't believe it at
first but as it began to sink in that alls these undercover cops that had rolled on the scene were doing nothing that night but stopping people and robbing them. Out of all the people who they took money from, I was the only one that I knew of at that time who
tried to do something about it at the time.

At first I ran after them as the drove away but that didn't help
at all. I then went down to the local precinct to report it. I was
told by the desk sargent to get my black ass out of here before I lock you up! At sixteen years old I made up my mind that I was going to kill that cop. I left the precinct that night with evil in my heart. I went to get some guy that I knew who would jump at the idea of killing a cop,but as fate would have it someone who loved me intervened. We were going to wait for him to get off from
work the next morning and follow him by car until he was a good distance from the pricinct, and shoot him to death all of us at once. But as I said earliar someone who loved me intervened and stopped me from committing that horrible act.

It is also part of their training to look at everyone as a suspect. Most by definition are criminals, and if you think you are a good cop but stand by and allow your "brethren" to get away with assault, rap, molestation, and murder, well than you too are a bad cop. It's okay, by my book that is high treason. Yes, that is the death penalty. They only have a short amount of time left before they will be judged whether it is in court, by God, or by our guns.
