Unfortunately, we will never have enough Cops, to keep up with the amount of scumbags.....9 out of 10 American's prefer Cops over Dirtbags.....

Where did you get the 9 to 10 ratio? I do not remember being surveyed for my opinion.

I can't speak for every cop out there but I personally have never met an honest trustworthy cop, and I have lived all over the world. I have work security jobs were I had to work with local police, it amazed me how corrupt they were. Just to tell one thing most of them never wrote out their own reports, and sometimes they would be so far from what really happened it was a whole different story all together. yet that report would go to court and hold so much weight on a persons life and freedom. And as far as the law was concerned it was the Gospel Truth and could never be wrong. when I was In the Army there were some people that just had a hatred for others, and couldn't wait go to war and kill someone and get away with it. vary angry, Ignorant raciest individuals that would boast all the time about getting out of the service and joining some sort of law enforcement just so they could mess with people, hurt people ,even kill people and get away with it. why have we let it get to this point?

I was very interested to come across this post.

My debut novel Missing Side of a Rubik's Cube is a thriller based on a true story about police corruption. It follows the life of a youngster who falls victim to corrupt cops and battles addiction and morality as he pursues justice.

Even honest cops are corrupt by association. As long as you are wearing the uniform, you are part of the problem.

Why are cops corruption mean? It's part of the mentality, of the type of person attracted to becoming a cop. Yes true, there are many sincere dedicated police officers. However, what do you think the high school bullies want to do... that's right, be given a gun and some authority, so they can swagger around and impose their quotes power" over other people – just like they did when they were a high school bully.like I said, it's part of the mentality.

You have to remember that cops are government employees and are loyal to the government first, the supreme court even states that the police are not there to protect the public. Do cops do good things, pull a person from a burning vehicle, run toward the sound of gun fire....yes fortunately these things don't happen frequently.. But even through this their loyalty is to themselves, their first duty is to go home at the end of shift to their families, that is a good thing.

Unfortunately when they have to choose between you and I and their loyalty to other cops....even if those cops are wrong they choose the blue wall of silence and will protect the other cops and the good cops go along with it. Remember that cops are human just like us and will make day to day decisions selfishly just like any one else.

Sounds like another jealous jerk who could not do what our fine officers do. I would not want to be a cop, but I respect them for putting up with people like u.

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Im just glad u dont speak for me. I have had nothing but good experiences with law enforcement in my 43 years on this planet. Not saying all people are perfect but what do you do to make a difference.

Do what they do? You mean sit around and eat donuts and get fat, sure I could do that. Or how beat their wives or not arriving before a woman gets gang raped, yeah easy. Harass old people in cars and giving tickets for going 2 miles over the speed limit, yea no problem.
