Gay Pride Festival Kicks Off

The largest civic event -- the annual Gay Pride Parade and Festival -- in San Diego returns to the streets of Hillcrest and Balboa Park this weekend.

I like how they are having the first gay couples married in the parade. It's like when you put the slow kid in the game when it doesn't count. It looks good but it is of no real use.

I have a real hard time understanding why our society and city council is SO TABOO against simple nudity at Blacks Beach, yet this city and its employees, embrace a sexually deviant exhibition in the streets of San Diego during the parade, well... Personally, I believe, if you're gay, go for it, I don't mind it. No bother. But, if you want to display your sexually deviant behavior in the streets, that is not right. It's about what's right and wrong. Most don't care what you do in your own home....Blessings.

I have been to Blacks Beach many of times and have seen photo's on the news of the gay parade. Neither one are up for pay per view! Although the parade pictures did have some *lipstick* lesbians on there. But anyways, REAL GOOD POINT!!!

You don't want your wife at home to find out he's perusing gay forums and gay websites, especially since they have children together.
More importantly, you don't want your wife to find out about his "bisexual" urges or that he's cheated on her with guys.
You're torn about his sexual urges because he doesn't want to be gay (he feels its morally wrong). That's why he spent time on Ex-Gays websites to see if they could help him (sadly, he realized they can't).

Good for them. They are proud of who they are.

However, would the media or the public be OK if other groups had pride events? What about 'AZN' pride, or Black Pride, or (when the day comes when they become a minority (which is sooner then later)) white pride? What about other minority grops, such as male college graduates (who have recently been outnumbered by their female coeds)? Or how about Republican Pride, a minority in our community?
Will the media and these same people who are enjoying who they are be so welcome to have others have their marches and their rallies?
