Are the criminal-minded police, developers, newspapers, and politicians harming San Diego residents and taxpayers?

My half-century working with land developers/contractors
revealed how they corrupt agency chiefs and news services
so that these feed bad information to politicians and the public.
Their primary weapon is exploiting the greed or ambition of
senior public servants, editors and elected officials while
threatening the careers of those who will not be bought.
Key figures are routinely fooled, coerced or bribed by agents of
profiteers to make them cooperate with the Monopoly game being
played to rob the public through actions-inactions of government.
Profiteers who gain control of the database of politicians and voters
are able to dictate decisions that allow them to rob citizens through government while avoiding detection-prosecution.
A rumored purchase of "The Reader" by the UT would be a
prime example of the century-old game of lying to the People
while denying them information about planning options.
By shutting down the excellent critiques of that journal the UT
editors could continue to keep most of us "in the dark and fed
horse manure" information. That would produce mushroom-
headed voters who could be fooled, frightened or bribed with
empty promises into voting for candidates that most folks
suspect are either fools or crooks.
Hopefully you and others will network effectively to provide good
information and thoughtful opinion to politicians as a balance to
the garbage data and advice they receive from public works and
water district managers throughout San Diego County.

Scam Dog is a cesspool of corruption. Not only politicians that are somehow elected but nearly everybody is a slimy immoral hypocrite. From the dangerously overarmed police that are domestic terrorists threatening & harming citizens; the DA personnel as well as the colluding public defenders office persecuting innocent citizens while tampering with evidence & manipulating witnesses as well as jury personnel; judges that indulge domestic terrorism & police violence upon innocent citizens as well as allow violations of civil & human rights but exploited an injured USN retiree to allow a reckless motorist off the hook while indulging shysters at AAA & chiselers at Gilbert, Kelly, Crowley, & Jannett to evade paying for damages but forsaken medical treatment to leave me crippled; so many kleptocrats including traffic engineering & parking enforcement that will take away available street parking for citizens but post needless ugly signs promoting dubious codes meant to abuse positions & shake down citizens by issuing unlawful dubious citations; ... these incidents are among the other evidence exposing corruption in San Diego. All of them are thieving & mistrustful hypocrites.

Remember how the city was broke and PETCO park construction had to stop because lack of funds. Guess where they got the money from. Hint jump on the 5 fwy south about 15min from downtown and there you will find the answer.

We'll trade you even: Rand Paul, Mitch McConnell, and a Tea Party nutcase named Matt Bevin for the crookedest on you got.

San Diego's corruption runs deep, causing public agency chiefs
to mislead honest politicians while the crooked ones do as their
sponsors in the criminal element of our buiness sector dictate.
From this comes the absurd planning that is burying us with
enormous debt for services and facilities we do not need.
Of course bad guys are at fault, but so too are good guys who
don't find time to work together to present a clear view of all
planning options to City Councils, County Supervisors, Water
District Commissioners and the County Grand Jury.
As long as these officials are misled by professional wordsmiths
hired with public dollars and paid by profiteers we cannot expect
to see sensible land-water-energy planning. Feed a computer
garbage and you get garbage output. With complete and accurate
data the people we elect could reverse our downward spiral.
It would take just a few good men and women who care enough
to spend several hours weekly working to improve quality of
life for their family and friends.
These forums could get the job done if they became sources of
useful information instead of being mere griping boards.

Merely grumbling is not useful. Providing facts-figures would help
voters choose more effective politicians.
Just as we are what we eat, so too government is what we feed it.
We at CRWM focus on illuminating water-related planning options. Land-energy management is generally a part of these plans.
To illustrate: Adopting federally-recommended onsite storage of rainwater allows communities to have narrower streets without
curbs and storm drains, producing more attractice homesites with
lower mortgage - utility - tax - insurance costs.
Voters who understand how well this works will be more inclined
to choose candidates willing and able to get'er done.
So contribute data from Fresno, Phoenix or wherever.
Show us how citizens benefit from electing politicians who
instruct public works officials to
PREVENT rainwater runoff, rather than trying to control it, by
SAVING it all with LID planning.
We need that free water, the ocean does not.

Everybody is corrupt, even your moms, dads, brothers, sisters, uncles, cousins and neighbors. That's the way society is. People who cry about it are hypocrites. They all say they would do things differently, that is until the money starts rolling in. Everyone has their price. The Founding Fathers were just as crooked as today's politicians.
