Better she ran into the store than run me over on my bike! I guess that counts as paying attention.

More than likely she wasn't paying attention to what she was doing.

Probably putting on her makeup, adjusting her coffee, etc.

its hard to avoid those buildings when I'm busy on the phone and putting on my make-up, I couldn't help it, I got thirsty!!!
