Make Crystal Meth legal!!!

Its common knowledge that there are chemical similarities between the key chemicals in Adderall (dextroamphetamine, C9H13N) and meth (methamphetamine, C10H15N). The two are amphetamines, they both act similarly, their chemical structure is almost identical, and yet one is prescribed to children. So, why isn't meth just legalized and taxed?

Why make criminals like Mexico's Carlos Slim so rich?

Also why force stores to sell Claritin in limited quantities to customers? Its a waste of time. Any substance, like food, cigarettes, alcohol, and etc. can be abused. Online, people can order generic Claritin tablets in blister packs in bulk at websites like www.allerox.com . People need to be responsible adults and just use things in moderation.

Hey Peaceout, I agree with you. In fact I think all drugs should be legal. However, if some crack head overdoses, I don't think tax payers should have to foot the bill to keep the guy alive. In other words, whether it be alcohol, drugs, or what ever, let the overdosers die instead of rushing them to a hospital and reviving them. I know that sounds a little harsh, but it just makes good sense.

Also, if we allow drugs to be legalized, then anything that requires a prescription should be legal too. That's only fare. Why should I have to go to a doctor to get some medication? If I know I need penicillan (not sure about the spelling) for an infection or a tetnis shot because I stepped on a rusty nail, why can't I just run down to the corner drug store and buy it. That would change a lot of things in our health care industry, making things a lot cheaper. It worked for Michael Jackson. Oh, I know, he blew it on that last injection, but how many times had he probably done that before and it was just fine? He may have been taking those injections for 10 or 15 years. He was getting too old anyway and looked like a deflated cabbage patch doll, so it was probably good he cashed it in.

What's the difference between an alcoholic and a drug addict?

An alcoholic will steal your wallet, confess the next day, and feel terrible for the rest of their life. A drug addict will offer to help you look for your wallet.

Talk to anyone who has been sober from METH for more than ten years and ask them if they think it should be legal. Meth will have you starving your kids, living in filth, with no teeth and stringy hair.

The benefits of stimulant ADD medication can be significant for children, but there is a reason why they are prescribed and not available over the counter. Just because something can be easily obtained doesn't mean we should just not try regulate it for public safety. You don't have to make it easier for people to hurt themselves and other people.

That being said, there is a direct relationship between methamphetamine abuse and increased incidents of domestic violence and child abuse.

Because people are frequently unable to moderate their behavior, sometimes things need to be illegal.

Are you crazy? Legalize crystal meth? Every man I've ever been with or known who was on that had always tried to kill/severly abuse me or their sig. other. If you're gonna legalize crystal meth, you might as well legalize killing your wife/girlfriend. Yes, even legal drugs can be abused, but do they all cause you to kill others? Get some brains, or did all that meth you do eat them up?

So what you're saying is, "let them party all their life on the tax payer dollar(welfare) but you draw the line if they ever OD." That's rich!

My nephew is a meth addict. He's only 37 and compared to his cousins that are the same age he looks 20 years older. He came for his alcoholic dads funeral (who ended up on the streets), and paced constantly, ate every sweet he could find in the house cause he was trying not to use while with the family. Abuse of legal or illegal drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, etc is just plain ignorant. It all kills. Don't start this crap and find fun in something that is healthy. Become a productive part of society instead of a drain. You'll have a better longer happier life if you get your act together! You won't cause your family unnecessary grief, end up in prison or die an early death. Get the proper help if you're dependent on a type of drug. There are many success stories.

Back in 87 or 88 some friends and I went to an Oingo Boingo concert. We thought it would be cool to do a "blast" small snort and see what happens. Well, I have to be honest...we had a great time. And that was that so I thought. As it turned out my friend scored the next day but none of us knew. Man did he go down hill from there. First Karate then school then work...he quit or lost everything and the dumbass still wont get help today. He's had help but until HE WANTS HELP it's pretty much useless....he's 39

We're talking tweakers, not "geekers." What do computer nerds have to do with this topic?
Geeker? Oh yeah, the meth is eating your brain. That crawling sensation means that it's working.
