And how! Golding, Cox, Alpert, Atkins, Sanders, Gotch, and that's not even alphabetical. We're just lucky Goldbeck never got elected into office here. She got on Pacific Grove's city council after she took off out of town. Her biz partner, GiGi Ebert, had to file bankruptcy while Goldbeck took off. If she was on the council here, probably the whole town would be bankrupt. And what they let that Booth woman get away with; it's just criminal.

The Quinones woman who works at the City Admin office is another example. Corruption and malfeasance like you wouldn't believe. Where? In the Citizens Review Board on Police Practices, that's where. They protect each other at your expense. An example? Abdussattar Shaikh. No better example needed. And Elvia Sandoval is still there; the rest have been fired and replaced (even Scott Fulkerson), but not Sandoval. Quinones and Sandoval. Two fine examples of what's not supposed to be.

Not only yes, but hell yes. City Hall has become one big racket. From the unions to the Dept. of Public works, to the planning office, and the port commission. It stinks from top to bottom and it's a shame too because this used to be a well run city and a good city to live in, now it's just becoming another Los Angeles.

Actually, I think Steve Castaneda being an ex-police officer precluded him from being on the Citizens Law Enforcement Review Board. There's an ethical issue there, just like Abdussattar Shaikh and CRBPP. Then, Castaneda got elected to the City Council in Chula Vista, where he immediately got into trouble. That's pretty corrupt. And CLERB got rid of both Parkers, I think. The one Parker was a retired police officer, and he used to question complainants like he was still a cop interrogating them. That's not right, that's just more police intimidation. Some of those people are pretty fragile by the time they make their complaints, and they don't need a Parker or a Castaneda there to give them more problems. You have to show ID now to make copies of public records. There's really no need for that, and you didn't have to ten years ago. What's the worry? Councilwoman Atkins' office is full of hypocrites. She should fire them all and get a whole new staff. Just like Supervisor Cox. What a mess.

Following the Bersin post, what happened to him while he was a DA is that he allowed a defendant in a civil case to be listed as federally protected, meaning that he was a federal employee. He wasn't, a corrupt court clerk tried to slip him in with federally protected persons. It was caught, but Bersin covered it up, I guess. But then I guess he got caught, too, and ended up in SD grade schools.
Kryisak was the cheat who was listed as federally protected. He wasn't. The whole thing snowballed, hence all the corrupt SD politicians and why your kids got so messed up by Bersin.

Yeah, I have to say that Judge Joseph was wrong. Then they moved the courthouse from the south side of Broadway to the new courthouse, which is all messed up. But I remember Judge Stirling had all those white people hang around outside his campaign headquarters by City College when he ran for office back in '94. Made it look like he was impartial, but when in fact it was hard to win in his court if you looked white. This town has had its share of shady politicians and cops. They get paid a lot of money to be crooks, too.

Right. Judge Stirling's "prove ops" were a joke, too. Probably many of them are.

Yes, it's true. San Diego's government's still full of corruption. All the new construction, all the increased rents and property prices, all for nothing. Made things worse, if nothing else. And look! Steve Castaneda got re-elected in Chula Vista! That's terrible!

One word, "Cate." Remember her at the Cal Fed on University by 805? It changed banks a few times since then (1993), but what triggered that to begin with?
Cate married and became Larson, but then when the bank changed to Regency or whatever it was, she stayed there with Abassi and Breen. Kept the same staff, but then the bank changed again.
And your account? It was there, but your family wasn't. Remember the blonde women who would yell at you to give up your child when you'd make a withdrawal? Just like in the old British movies, give up your first born to Lloyd's or something. Hey, I know banking must be rough, but really!
That's about as bad as when Security Pacific broke up. Cal Fed was over that way, too, on Balboa past where Security Pacific was. So all those closed for some reason, and we have new politicians now.
Do they yell anything about your daughter when you go to vote? Probably depends on where they bank.

Hey, I know one thing! They're not supposed to have a Kinkos in the courthouse, are they? They're not supposed to let a business like that in a court, you could drive down Broadway and see the Kinkos sign through the front door.
That's wrong.

Gigi Ebert Well, Ebert told me that herself, she was in bankruptcy and didn't practice law anymore. I don't know, maybe she just said that to me. If she tells someone one thing and someone else another, well, that's no one else's problem. Go ahead and delete that other guy's post, it doesn't seem to matter. I know who I vote for and who I don't.
