Call this a preliminary obituary for the Sacramento Bee newspaper. Apparently they now require a paid membership to view online content. Who in their right mind would pay for inaccurate, biased, grammar and spelling mistake ridden articles? I guess the many banner advertisements from area businesses all over your page aren't generating enough money for you. Good-bye you sorry excuse for a newspaper. I hope you go belly-up within the year and News & Review takes your place.

I find it funny that leftcoast liberals all seem to want something for nothing these days. This must be a symptom of the Obama economy - too much free stuff has left you people stingy and unwilling to pay for traditional goods and services. It's not enough that you get housing subsidies, utility grants, credits to buy food, free phones, daycare and whole bunch of other stuff ALL from the government. Now you don't think you should have to pay for your newspaper in the morning but instead you think it should be free. How do you think the journalists earn their salary? Oh yeah, you probably think we should have state run media.

With all the BS advertising they throw at you. You'd think they would have their costs covered.

Aristotle was a wise man. I'm for saving the bees, but not the sacbee.
