<quoted text>You are obviously someone who has never seen or been in combat. Good for you, but don't ever try and judge someone who has been. When you have seen children and civilians and your fellow soldiers mutilated, you can do things no civilized people would ever consider. Walk in their shoes if you think your man enough. What Fonda did was treason, and was the cause of many an American being killed and tortured. I pray all of you will never see what we saw.
History has already judged it as a unjust war. So explain why gang rape, killing unarmed civilains give anyone a ticket to heaven and what Jane Fonda did does not, by opposing a unjust war.

Well blame what the NVA did to soldiers on Jane Fonda, that is just stupid.

How many children did Jane Fonda murder= zero, zap, nada. Look what Jane Fonda made me do, gang rape women and kill unarmed civilians, women and children.........Not!!!!! Then who did? Take a look.
The My Lai Massacre was the Vietnam War mass murder of between 347 and 504 unarmed civilians in South Vietnam on March 16, 1968, by United States Army soldiers of "Charlie" Company of 1st Battalion, 20th Infantry Regiment, 11th Brigade of the Americal Division.
Most of the victims were women, children, infants, and elderly people. Some of the women were gang-raped and their bodies were later found to be mutilated[2] and many women were allegedly raped prior to the killings.
While 26 U.S. soldiers were initially charged with criminal offenses for their actions at My Lai, only Second Lieutenant William Calley, a platoon leader in Charlie Company, was convicted.
Found guilty of killing 22 villagers, he was originally given a life sentence, but only served three and a half years under house arrest.
Funny how some moron can come through and judge these comments as "nuts, clueless and spam" I think what you posted was completely in line with the investigation into the facts. Most Americans are very ashamed of these acts while some people just want to sweep them magically away.If you notice our Vietnam doesn't deny these actions,he is just okay with them and probably mad that someone brought them to light.Any true American patriot would put a bullet in Calley's head themselves.

No one ever said anything about Lt Calley and his men going to heaven, or that they were justified in their actions. All I said was that you Californicate pukes treated everyone of us that came home like we were criminals and dirt. To me and most of the other vets, YOU dirt bags are the criminals like Hanoi Jane. Don't judge Calley, or anyone else, until you have walked in their shoes. YOU HAVE NO RIGHT to judge anyone.!!!!!!

Broke-back Mountain cowBOY must have "serviced" a lot of sailors when they came into port. But, just FYI, my weapon of choice was the M79. Plus, Hopewell, Va. is the home town of Robert Lewis, one of the troopers KIA in 1965 as portrayed in the movie "We were soldiers once, and young".

As I have said before, the rest of the country thinks of Ca as the land of fruits and nuts. You "A"holes lost me 44 years ago when I came home from Nam, and your pukes threw crap and spit at me. You "Jane Fonda" can just die for all I care.
I think you have been brain wash by fox-news and unstable please stay away from children.

Did you know that 4 out of 5 that claim to be Vietnam Vets are not. I know Vietnam vets and they have never been spit on and live here in California. Some that claim to be were never there at all or even in the military.

Now please read this:

Spitting Image: this Legacy of Vietnam is a MYTH

One of the myths is that the Vietnam soldiers was spit on upon returning to the states. Now a study was done to see if any evidence of those that claim it was true.

Jerry Lembcke demonstrated what we know to be true, and in fact challenge any believers in this myth to straighten us out by providing the main ingredient to make myth reality - solid proof. Jerry was the first sincere scholarly researcher to show that not a single incident of this sort has been convincingly documented. Rather, the anti-war Left saw in Veterans a natural ally, and the relationship between anti-war forces and most Veterans was defined by mutual support. The entry of Vietnam Vets or any Veterans into the anti-war movement would have had the impact of suppressing such spitting incidents.

That said, we challenge any believer in this myth to show documented proof (photos or news paper archives) that show any Vietnam Era or War Veteran being spit on as they return from any overseas tour during the Vietnam War. We mean actually spitting on them NOT shunning them or putting them down as most mainstream VSOs did back in the day. This of course could be spun into a form of spitting on Veterans.

You can believe what you will, but I know what happened to me and the group that landed with me in 1969. No pictures, my camera was all packed away, and all I wanted to do was GTF out of fruit and nut land. The people on the East Coast were a lot more friendly, as they even bought the drinks.---- I do often wonder what happened to my Ca. buddies from Nam, Larry Yates,Joe Doss, Oren Kuhn. I hope they are OK.

A Legend in Their Own Minds:
Poseurs, Fakes, and Wannabes
BY BERNARD EDELMAN

To Be A Man

Why do these people - wannabe-hunters call them "pukes" and "scum" and other less flattering names - live a lie?

Bob Greene, a combat veteran who has been with the VA in Manhattan for more than 20 years, adds this caveat: "Liars are lonely people. What you have in essence is a weak person who wants to project the image of a hero, then uses this false persona as a credential - a credential he has not earned."

One longtime counselor at a Vet Center on the West Coast, a veteran who had seen his share of combat in Vietnam, a friend who'd rather retain the cloak of anonymity than risk running afoul of the VA bureaucracy, has encountered scores of fakes over the years. "The most difficult job we have in the Vet Centers," he told me, "is convincing people who come in that they're not veterans, or that they couldn't have experienced the horrors they claim to have witnessed."

I want to thank you for your web site. If not for the site I would have continued my life of lies. I notified MOPH [Military Order of the Purple Heart] today and asked them to remove me from their membership list as I have never been awarded the Purple Heart. I will return the POW tags on my car ... and get real tags. I have removed all stickers from my car that implied I was a Nam vet, a PH recipient or a POW. I have told my wife all. She suspected that I was not honest concerning my military records. I will talk with both of my sons this weekend. By the way, they both served proudly in the U.S.A.F. If asked by anyone that notices that I no longer have a POW tag I will tell them "I never was a POW nor did I serve in Vietnam." Again, I wish to thank you and the persons that reported my lies.

As it has been said before, the land of fruits and nuts. And it is proven everyday. At least most other states aren't so deep in debt that they can't see daylight. Never fear, Odumbo and the commies will try to bail you out with other people's hard earned money. The problem is, you are not worth it!

Duong Hong Son, I'm glad you made it over here to the states. I came home in '69, and never thought we would leave your people hanging on a pole. There were a lot of wonderful people there that helped me out on many occasions. The troops didn't loose the war, radical leftists, like those in charge of things now, were the reason the USA abandoned your people. The rule should always be "if you fight, fight to win". The wackos in Ca. were and are the reason we as a country will forever be losers(thank you Jane Fonda). And to Spaceship, No I was not a cook. But I'll bet you were 4F!!!!

lemme axe you this. If Calif. is rotten, what would you call a state that seceded from the Union? We never spent four (4) years fighting the United States of America. As for your outstanding citizens of Va. you forgot to mention George Lincoln Rockwell who founded the American Nazi Party.
You can axe all you want doofus. We call it states rights, but you lefties don't know anything about "RIGHTS". Hitler and Stalin would be so proud of you, you fit the image of what they stood for. Remember, without Virginia there would be no English speaking people in Califoricate. Hell, you wouldn't even have Gov. Moonbeam. "You funny, you stupid".

President Obama’s exercise in gun legislation by photo-op and executive order yesterday may cheer liberals and outrage the NRA, but it will do almost nothing to curb gun violence.

More of nothing from the great campaigner.

Congrats, Vet. There is actually someone more cowardly than you. His name is Riccardo the Pervert, of course he's from CA. When his country needed him, instead of putting on the uni, he put on a dress and hid in the fruit cellar. A sign on his front door said "I'll convert to Arabism, Buddism, Satanism; I'll even worship Jimmy Swaggart, just don't hurt me."

FU! I'm not from this excuse of a state moron. I was never drafted fool. If you actually served, I'm sad that one of your fellow troops didn't accidentally blast your mouth off.
