I am new to this forum. However I have chosen to conceal my true identity for obvious reasons.
Please Excuse the grammatical errors this is a quick post
Let me just say I am NOT a racist, and I hope I do not offend anyone if I do I apologize ahead of time I belive all women are beautiful that is why I am so puzzled....
Anyways, I am a black female, I am 24, I am a surfer, diver, mountain climber and snow boarder
I spend alot of time at the beach and I am in good condition.
I work out frequently have 36c's, dark almond skin, and long black hair and hazel eyes (just to give you a visual) anyways.
I went to the Santa Cruz beach. I usually go to the San Fran beach and all the white chicks are like staring at me.
It creeped me out! I know why the Guys where looking at me...duh. But the girls were like zombies. This is not the first time this has happened either. When I go places where there are mostly white chicks I always get stares. Don't get me wrong they never say anything they just look. and it is a stupid, blank, are you in there kind of look.
Why are white chicks sp shocked when they see an attractive dark skinned black woman doing "out of the box activities?

Lady it sounds like you are a bit paranoiac! I doubt they are looking at you anymore than they are looking at any other woman of any other color. If this was some all white town in Mississippi I might think differently but Santa Cruz is extremely liberal and I know you will find this hard to believe but (gasp!) they have seen black women there before. The last time I looked there were quite a few black folks living in Santa Cruz too! If your delusions persist I would suggest you see your shrink. Hope this helps.

First let me tell you i am black and i am not racist. In general we black people not racist. I love white people they but i look the characters of them not the color. Character is what it counts. So i am going to make a statement majority white people will agree with me "all humans are beautiful". They are criteria people made up and they adapt it in their belief. I develop a mentality by looking people face to know there character we all have this god given us this untapped potential but people not aware of it. I can see you accomplished many men unaccomplished me either. So your experience reflected on your character when you move and facial expression some people call it an aura. Any way i say enough for now. If you want me to tell you more send me you picture at this sendmetomoon@gmail.com.
I will defiantly help you more.

Girl that don't hardly make any sense at all. I mean when you said "I can see you accomplished many men and unaccomplished me either" I just had to scratch my head and wonder what that meant. The rest of that whole paragraph is almost as confusing and then you closed with "I will defiantly help you more". DEFIANTLY??? Say what??? You haven't been hanging around with somebody named PENCIL NECK JIM have you?

Sorry about the confusion. The reason is i don't like racism my head can't function with racism because i live free like a lion in AFRICA. I never heard about racism until i came in the Unites state. I don't know how people live in racism it very is bad for our brain it is a disease. I think learn to come to grisp to knowing our self not what we see the colors. Girl don't worry people don't know what they doing this days. Learn a positive thing about it and live your life like a free tree in AFRICA.

Girl I am really trying to understand what you are saying but then you say something like "I think learn to come to grisp to knowing our self not what we see the colors" and you are making about as much sense as some weirdo here on topix named PENCIL NECK JIM. Can you translate that from African into English my friend. Meanwhile like you say I will try to live my life like a free tree in AFRICA. Have a nice day and give my regards to your witch doctor.

Girl now you are starting to make some sense. You can't see the stars until it gets dark. I get it now except I already knew that.

And the award for most uneducated goes to......jemmima johnson in e.g. Nice accomplishment considering Imhotep barely even speaks English. I was wondering if English was your 2nd language, but there are no foreigners in Elk Grove, so I guess you're just mentally handicapped.

The exact same thing happened to me today. I just thought 'I must look REALLY great today if white chicks are staring' lol. And I did. Women just appreciating another woman's aura. Take it in your stride and continue your confidence; hopefully, it will rub off and become the norm.

It happens almost everywhere. You're not crazy like some of these fools are trying to make you out to be. They're simply ignorant of in denial.

Maybe they're just admiring your beauty. Take it as a compliment. Not everyone is judging or thinking negatively.

I get stared at a lot also. I work at a University here and am stared at by the young white women who are students, the white middle aged and younger women that work there ......I think I am just ordinary looking...... Unfortunately for now am living in Minneapolis to save money for grad school and I ride public transportation because I don't have a car.

I think it is because of the way I carry myself. The people here are very casual in the way they dress and are not the most cosmopolitan. I have lived outside of the U.S. and dress well. I don't wear designer clothes per-say or spend a lot on clothes, coats etc but I know how to put myself together in a way that looks as if I have money from shopping at Marshalls and the clearance racks.

Many of the black people here are struggling and don't carry themselves with pride. I constantly witness loud profanity on public transit and other places and a lack of concern or consideration for others.

There are not a lot of black people here that you would see riding public transit for work.

I will soon be back in a cosmopolitan city where black women dress and carry themselves nicely and are a dime a dozen. I am looking forward to this because this hick area is not for me.
