bobsdogs, maybe the african americans are proud of their history in the US. There is nothing wrong with being proud of your ancestors. But its 2007, we all need to stop hating on each others race because America is the land of opportunities and freedom, so why don't we all just get along. why does this always have to do with race. a crime is a crime, no matter your race, you do the crime you do the time. It's sad that its teenagers who were involved. Not every asian parents agree what their child do, either they don't know or they have tried to help get them out of the life of gangs but kids these days don't listen. we were all teenagers, did we listen to our parents or people who told us not to do something because it was bad? Instead of complaining how your brethren are treated or depicted why don't you go to school and learn how to spell. Maybe they are American Citizens, heck eventually all the trash has kids

Any word on if they confiscated any of those "sweet" import cars with the huge useless whale tail spoiler, and those super hip neon lights underneath. I love import cars that are louder than my truck.

I am first generation here in the US. My parents
kept us on the straight, narrow and educated. And I do not mean narrow minded like most Sacramentans. I do believe that if immigrants break the law or the children are caught breaking the as gang menbers the entire family should be shipped back from whence they came. Pressure must be placed on the entire family or at times the immigrant community to behave in a civilized manner. Be they brown, black, yellow or white. Everyone who lives in Sac for any amount of time knows of the issues with our Slavic community. I believe the earlier immigrants to this land of opportunity did not take it so much for granted. They had to assimilate to survive. Not everyone is white bread America but you have to assimilate in the working world. Home is where values and heritage are taught.

Wow, your rambling makes you sound like you're under the influence of something. You also expect the taxpayers to pay for your education. Well they paid for your education from K through 12 and it seems like it was money that could have been spent better some other way, it definitely was a waste trying to provide you with an education.
