Comcast, then Campbell Soup. Within days last week, Comcast said it's shutting down its Natomas call center and Campbell Soup announced plans to close its Franklin Boulevard plant in south Sacramento, leaving hundreds of area workers to wonder what their next step will be.

Campbell's issued a press release saying they were simply moving the jobs to the new 1600 person Bakersfield plant, now under construction. But if they're not paying relocation fees, then I hope there's some kind of retraining.
With the lack of redevelopment funds, I guess there's nothing to pay for that, though :(
I guess the fact that the jobs are staying in California (and are actually increasing overall, but just not here) is small consolation to those who are getting the shaft here.
