Leave these guys alone. I bet you they aren't arresting any women?!? Sometimes you have to do what you gotta do. I see these women walking around half naked & it just makes your horniness get out of control.

So just because a woman dresses a certain way, that makes it ok for them to be assaulted. And what about the children, they never ask for it. They have there innocense an childhood stolen by these monsters.

To all the comments....
The first two are pathetic why post a comment on something you "don't care" about what a sad miserable life you must have to waste your time. There is no argument to what is being done. The law is the law wether you agree or not doesn't really matter. Sex offenders are suppose to report where they live. I am appualled by such a ridiculous group of people.

I donít understand why so many people think this is funny.... because its not!! Those sexual offenders that prey on children need to be kept from the places where they could have the most contact with there potential victims. They are less likey to offend again if they are kept away from those they prey on.

all of them up, put them in a cage for a month no food, no water, let them sit in their own waste...then light one of them on fire...and watch the flames spread to the others, watch 'em burn!!

Why are these multiple career violent offenders still let out on our streets?

Excellent Job SAFE!!
I am happy to see my tax dollars going somewhere very important! Good to hear that sex offenders are being watched. No matter how vigilant I am with my 2 daughters, I still fear for their safety when these guys are allowed to go unsupervised.
Free Felony Sex Offenders cannot be trusted near children...ever!

There is a lot of sexual violence in the U.S.

Why do you people keep them out on the street? In my country, people who rape women and children are put into prison for several years and do not have house privledges like you do. That is why there is very little rape and child abuse here.

We don't let them out on the street right away. After they have "served their time," they are required, by law, to register as a sex offender and cannot live within close ranges of schools, parks, and other areas where children are nearby. The task force in this article has assembled to locate and track down those individuals who do NOT re-register after they move.

IMO, I think we should start practicing "an eye for an eye." That might make people think twice before committing such acts.

With a few exceptions, all of the posters for this article have their facts wrong. The facts are:

1. California has 90K registered sex offenders. It has been registering anyone convicted of any offense related to sex since 1947.

2. California has over 100 penal codes which require some sort of registration with the police. Although the public thinks that the registered sex offenders are molesters, that is only half the story. Many registered sex offenders are prostitutes, johns, pimps, people who pee in public, those who go skinny dipping, those who streaked, and Romeo and Juliet type romancers.

3. Only those paroled since Jessica's Law went into effect are required to be 2,000 feet from schools and parks. Those who committed their offenses before that - and some go back to the 1950s - do not have their housing restricted.

4. Parents may THINK that by knowing who the registered sex offenders are that that will take care of sexual abuse. Actually, it will only help in about 10 percent of the cases. The other 90 percent (!) of sexual abuse is committed by the parents themselves, step parents, teachers, coaches, youth ministers, babysitters, family relatives, family friends and those ALREADY known to the child.

It would be extremely helpful to the debate if people refrained from sadistic and ignorant comments like "Round" and if they actually read the reports from objective sources (U.S. Department of Justice, California Coalition on Sex Offending, CAL-CASA and other groups to name a few), rather than parroting what they read in the media.

The media, for the most part, isn't giving the public the full story. For some reason, the media is either: 1) being lazy in failing to do its research or 2) it knows the facts but prefers to scare the public. Whichever is the reason, it's rehensible.

What is wrong with our Sacramento County judges/court system??? An unregistered sexual offender - DOCK MCNEELY - is arrested in our Elk Grove neighborhood - they give him only a 5,000 bail and he is bailed out and released from jail and no one can tell us if he is back in our neigborhood. I am assuming he is....why are the authorities not disclosing his whereabouts? Dock McNeely has not registered I believe since his 2003 release and they set his bail this low? If sex offenders don't register there should be a law when they are found that they are given the maximum penalty by law...How can the judges live with themselves if they let someone off this easy and they reoffend? This happens all the time...1, 2, 3 or more repeats and still they let them go. We must protect our children at all costs.

I agree that "we" must protect "our" children at all cost costs.
However, here is a new idea, why not have the PARENTS begin protecting their own children. My wife and I did, we raised two boys and a girl. The youngest is now 32.
Pay attention to where they go, what they do, who they do it with, who their friends are...etc. People, your children are your responsibility. Period! Know what they are up to. If they live under your roof then they have no rights to secrets. Their secrets, a.k.a. privacy, can kill, maim, or warp them. Their minds are not ready to make informed rational decisions until around 20 to 21 years of age. If you don't believe me, look at yourself.
I look back at Mike's posting and find him to be the only rational person on the blog. He uses facts that are indeed true. One of the main problems that criminals have, all criminals, is they cannot help their criminal thinking errors. Errors that are anti-social. Just like many of the criminal thinking errors exhibited by several of the criminal posters here, that call for and are advocating 1st degree MURDER! You know, I have found that children can get over being touched inappropriately, but are you sure you want a person living next door to you that thinks it's OK to murder for any reason. That's the person that might someday snap and kill the whole family, or worse...kill your family!

Where are you getting your information, Find Them? The reason Mr. McNeely was given reduced 5,000 bail was because the Sacramento Judge found that Mr. McNeely had properly registered, contrary to the information that you gave.
Instead of lying to the public, the question should be asked why was Mr. McNeely held for over 7 years without a hearing or trial of any type in violation of his Constitutional right to a speedy trial?[as determined by the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals], and why he is unlawfully required to register when the underlying charge was dismissed with prejudice to reprosecution and rearrested using the identical cause that the Ninth Circuit dismiss and barred to reprosecution. Corrupt official who do this to its citizens are more of a threat to the Republic.

I my self was molested by a family relative. Was it because I was walking around half naked and out of control? No I was a student in middle school. He was a sick sick man who hurt me. I was sleeping when it happened and woke up. He did it twice to me, and did it to my cousin for 7 years. young and stupid scared out of our minds nothing was said, but I knew it was wrong. So you expect me and everyother person to go and leave them alone, I dont think so! They get what is coming to them. And what you need to look at is all the children that this is happening to! Everyone has the right to their own opinion, but not everyone who gets molested, or raped is walking around in little skanky clothes, alot are teens, and children. So maybe you should think twice before you say something so idiotic!

and another thing i may not have said anything the first time, but to clear it up I did say something the second time, and that bastard was put in jail. but released on bail. In my opinion he was let off way to easy after the trial. So I may have been scared and not said anything the first time but i did say something the second time. So go ahead and keep suporting those bastards!!!!
