We had to move out of state and back twice to get our surrogacies done legally since second parent adoption and surrogacy are both illegal here. We also went out of state to get a civil union and later to get married. Neither is honored by our state. YAY AZ! Im sure its pretty from a hot air baloon but come the *&%# on.

So the glbt community is doing somewhat okay in that racist, fascist shthole of AZ. Good luck when the water runs out.

Speaking of which, blue states should pass laws now barring the entry of "undocumented water refugees" from AZ and buybull parts of the parched South and Southwest.

Apart from the politics, I can't understand what the appeal of living there would be. All the buildings are beige and look the same.(No, southwestern architecture does not have to be coloured like dirt - Santa Fe is full of colour.)

Phoenix conforms to what Gertrude said of Oakland: "There is no there there."

Isn't that what all of Canada says about Toronto? Everyone knows that Vancouver and Montreal are far more interesting...

Hardly. Vancouver is always cloudy and Montreal lost much of its cache years ago - it looks rather gray nowadays.
