BUT this presupposes that every gay male is at risk of hiv infection BECAUSE every gay male has in the past, or still does, participate in anal sex.

But this presumption is not correct. In fact, because I have never participated in anal sex, add because I have never had ANY STD at all, and I have not had sex in 20 years, it is a CERTAINTY that any sexually active HETEROSEXUAL person, is at a greater risk of having hiv or an STD.

It's not the status of being a gay man that puts you at risk, but the types of sexual activity you engage in, gay or str8.

This ban is simply prejudice and not based on science, nor logic.

Furthermore, what about a gay male who, say for example, is 18 years old, only recently has come out, and has NEVER had sex of any kind ? Why is simply saying "I am gay" then, a risk factor ? CLEARLY it isn't. Or at least, LOGICALLY, shouldn't be.
