I believe the true meaning of gay in that song is party clothes. I remember seeing an cartoon in an old issue of my father's Playboy magazines that showed a man dressing in womens clothes singing that line "don we now our gay attire".

So funny. Gayness has nothing to do with wearing dresses, yet so many people still think that. Reminds me of a guy trying to get a gay discharge from the military. They said he needed notarized statements from 3 of his lovers. He thought that was a breech of privacy and figured there had to be another way. So what did he do? Instead of his uniform, he reported to duty in a dress. He got the discharge, and without outing others nor giving up privacy. I believe that story was in Penthouse.

Only that Klinger never got a discharge for showing up in a dress. On one episode, someone recommended an operation, and he said he wasn't *that* crazy. However, on one episode, an officer did come out of the closet as gay.

3 words: Twenty First Century!!! Sure the Diamond Barbie does look a bit like a Drag Queen but so what!!! The doll is stunning, outfit - mesmerizing. From head to toe she is a true collector vision. And isn't this what it's all about??? Appreciating the unique, artistic and creative ideas!!!
