The very nature of aristocracy, but especially the absolutist type, is its parasitic behaviour.
So, now we have established what has happened to its larvae.
Somewhat shocking, yet not entirely surprising, is the orthodox church's decision to elevate this oppressive family of thieves to sainthood. Although the patriarch's hopes for the reintroduction of a constitutional monarchy in Russia were squashed by Yeltsin, elevation to sainthood is about as inappropriate and perverse
as selecting Idi Amin's image to be painted on icons. Of course, nothing else could be expected from 'the right hand' of monarchy.

It is hard to imagine anything more abominable that the Russian Czarist exploitation and parasitism.

Any nationally conscious Ukrainians who are still members of the Russian Orthodox Church should question what kind of Christian values these aristo-parasites ever had and should question why they are still members of a church that venerates genocidal imperialists.

The dominant religion in Ukraine is Orthodox Christianity, which is currently split between three Church bodies: the Ukrainian Orthodox Church autonomous church body under the Patriarch of Moscow, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church - Kiev Patriarchate, and the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church.

Ukraine is beginning to assert itself with a cultural derussification. Starting apparently with street names. This will take some time and encounter resistance from ethnic Russians of course.

In response to the negative comments about the Russian Royal Family. Their role was inherited, and Nicholas thought he was chosen by God to be a father to the Russian people. Was it a good system? No, not at all. Was Nicholas to blame for his behaviour? Somewhat. It is all he knew, there certaintly wasn't any media to tell him otherwise. Was there not a Grand Duke Youssoupoff?
So, there is an 'honour among thieves'. You wish to pretend you are a descendant defending the royal house, I prefer to see you as a psychiatric patient. Either way, you describe Czar Nick as a concerned father to the Russian people. Yet he behaved like an abusive father in a broken household. His only 'concern' was motivated by personal enrichment.
