If street mobs made up of pro EU radicals had not toppled Kyiv's elected government there would be no crisis to deepen. Yanukovych was the choice of the voters in Ukraine after they rejected Yushchenko and his orange revolution. Guess the west is now anti democracy preferring mob rule to electoral change.

Look how the country is in a mess now.

Who's to blame, but the nazi Bandera lovers in Kiev, and their sponsors in the State Department in Washington. Ukraine is completely paralysed and nobody is in control anymore.

It's a miracle that the country function at all, with complete regions not respecting the capital. Soon I predict, the flow of gas to the EU will be affected by sabotage or syphoning.

The West, and mostly the US will have obtained the complete opposite of what they wished for.
Putin don't have much to do, but wait for East Ukraine to fall on his lap like a ripe fruit, and there is nothing NATO will be able to do!

How is it the complete opposite of what Washington would wish for? The USA has a long history of preferring fascist regimes and military juntas in other nations. Democracy means a nation has to worry about the will of the voters. That makes them more difficult to control.

Sort of why Saudi Arabia is Washington's favorite Moslem nation. No need to have to worry about public pressure.

The US and their underlings in Europe thought in their arrogance that they would take Ukraine over and millions of Ukrainians and Russia were going to do nothing about it,time for a reality check

I completely agree. I am embarrassed as a USA citizen. I have never seem the USA government screw up so badly. They start wars in Syria and Ukraine. And they are definitely sure to lose both of them. But instead of ending the killing in Syria, they launch terror attacks in a vain hope of embarrassing al-Assad in the elections in a couple of days. It is pathetic.

What can Obama do in Ukraine? He could start World War III. But he has already said he won't do that. So what is the point? What can he do? NOTHING. He can "sanction individuals and a few Russian companies. Does he, is he fool enough to imagine that that will affect Russian policy? Or is that a sorryass attempt to save face? He is going to lose a lot of face and a lot of territory, too. Who lost Syria? Who lost Ukraine? I can hear it all now.

In a way I am glad because this means that Hitler KKKLinton will definitely NOT be elected. She helped Obama to screw up American strategic policy this way. She will definitely not get elected. Who lost Syria? Who lost Ukraine? to make matters worse, Iraq has just intervened in Syria on the side against Obama. Imagine that. Am I the only one who sees how Obama/KKKLinton screwed things up by attacking Libya?

It started in Egypt when al-Sisi put down the ratbellion in Cairo. It has continued in Syria. And now it is in Ukraine. Do not be surprised if it spreads to the Balkans. But I do not think Putin wants this mess. It is just that Obama has screwed up so badly until there is no other way out at this point.

BRICS has just issued a statement in strong support of Russia ( http://rt.com/op-edge/russia-switches-to-bric... ) BRICS stands for Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. And I am certain that a couple of other countries in Africa and Latin America who are supporting BRICS from behind the scenes. In fact BRICS is entirely in line with what I think in terms of the future of Pan-Africanism. We need all the Arab countries and the Muslims countries. We have Russia and China. Now we need Iran, Indonesia, Nigeria, Egypt, Venezuela and Pakistan. Only a fool would even attempt top impose sanctions. The world has changed forever. But nobody told Obama. In many ways I pity Obama for being such an idiot and not having any worthwhile advisors to guider USA policy onto a realistic path. Obama has shot himself in the foo in Syria and Ukraine and Egypt. And it all started in Libya. Some times I wish I was a Dummyrat who could get folks to listen to common sense. but I am not and will never become associated with that type of insanity.

I believe the present insanity started with the brutal attack on Yugoslavia,Russia was weak at that time and had a drunken Court Jester for a President, thats the difference, now they have to deal with a strong Russian leader but they think they are still dealing with the Court Jester who they can pat head and send away with a bottle of vodka.

I should have know better than to read your link, you are such a liar. Look at the date of the article, it is 1 year ago SFB's. In case you havent noticed the sanctions are already in place, and as to russia placing sanctions, the question comes up of sanctions of what to prohibit travel to Russia, that is not a real threat, it is a favor. I dont think Obama really gives a shit what you think, he has done an incredible job concidering what the Republicans gave him to work with but like it or not he will serve his 8 years make 10 million on his memoirs and would not give a crap if you moved to Toga. WTF would listen to a communist like you that lies all the time, I think people would take up a collection to get you to move back to Africa and make the US a better place.

But it teaches them a much needed lesson: r2p applies in Ukraine as much as it does in Somalia and Libya. Thank GOD for Putin the Great.

Twist the truth if it makes you feel better. But the title of that article is "Sanctions Effect" regardless to the date on it. It is as relevant today as it was a year ago. That's the problem, with you halfwit Dummyrats: you think you can bully everybody with sanctions all the time. I know you do not want my advice. My advise is it is smarter not to start some crap you cannot finish. Look at the long term effect the way Putin the Great does.
