He concluded; "Instead of an archaic society, in which leaders think and decide for everybody, we shall become a society of intelligent, free and responsible people."

FINALLY!

Russia's economy has suffered greatly during Putin's reign, investment, especially public has been nearly non-existent in Russia,(unless you were an oligarch).

This should have been started 10 years ago, but Putin decided to sacrifice his countries prosperity, for his own gain and the gain of his friends.

If Putin's policies are going to be reversed this sharply, Russia might be able to rebuild her economy.

Demonstrators paid by NGOs to come and camp in Kyiv? Very spontaneous mob, eh?

Well, you are completely wrong there!!

Putin is the one who introduced business legislation to curtail the privileges of the few. Also the one who fought the oligarchs, asked them to pay their taxes, sent them to prison and prosecuted those breaking the law!!

Putin is the one who has harassed bad employers to pay for their workers, stopped the fraululous bankrupcies and forced the foreign companies to observe their contracts.

Before Putin, Russia was like the wild West, with no legislation, no business ethics, just a 'free-for-all' chaos where criminals could overnight take over industries, mines, companies, etc...

You are completely wrong in accusing Putin of working for his own gains: Russians know that, this is why they vote for his party!
You show how ill-informed you are, or to what extend to are prepared to be malicious.

LOL that was the biggest piece of propaganda I have ever heard. PUTIN DOESN'T CARE ABOUT RUSSIA! Just look at the facts, Russia's
Privet investment in long term economic growth has been like below 5% of GDP for Putin's entire term. If you look at the numbers the high-tech sector of Russia has not been growth proportionally with the rest of the economy. If you look at the facts not the kremlin newspapers like pravda, you see that Putin has been destroying the Russian economy for the past 9 years

No, you got it wrong. Original election was rigged by Moscow's puppet Yanukocich, paid by Moscow (big time) and then recounted! The recount produced different result then the one staged by Moscow. LOL! Now you can laugh and even shit your pants!

Putin condoned corruption among his friends, and everything is for sale in Russia. People pay bribes to enter university, to escape military service, to stay out of prison, and to land a good job. Until the late 1990s, the selling of top offices was not an issue, but by 2004 it had become endemic.

When Putin became president in 2000, he promised that Russia would join the World Trade Organization by 2003, but it is not likely to join even in 2010 because Putin has allowed various protectionist interests to override Russia's national interest. This stands out as one of his most spectacular failures.

"A Russian president cannot make decisions of high quality about everything, after having abolished all feedback and concentrated so much decision making in his own hands. During President Vladimir Putin's reign, the Russian regime became too rigid and centralized to handle crises, which always occur. Therefore, this regime can hardly be very stable."

"No large state with an educated population has managed to maintain authoritarian rule or stay so corrupt at Russia's level of economic development. Therefore, it seems natural for Russia's dictatorship to collapse in the near future, as happened even in countries with strong authoritarian traditions, such as Taiwan and South Korea."

" First, opinion polls show that Russians are as upset as any other nation about corruption and they have more of it. Information about corruption is abundant. Only fools do not believe that the government aims at the promotion of corruption. "

"Claims that Putin and his close friends have stolen billions of dollars from the state or private businessmen abound, but so far Putin has never reacted, which is evidence that he approves of such activities (Milov and Nemtsov 2008). Third, incredibly but fortuitously, Putin decided to resign as president, although he stays as prime minister, which grants Russia an ambiguous dual power structure. "

The WTO application has been blocked by several countries that were allowed to put objections to Russia membership. That has been quite unprecedented.

Also, the criteria for membership have been narrowed specifically for Russia, not for other applicants, possibly to dissuade it or make it impossible for it to join..

That the organisation has let itself being manipualted by some countries is an indication that it cannot control itself. Russia is asked to abandon certain practices that are still in use in some WTO members.

come on that is not true . russia was obviously much worse before putin. putin did not bring some radical reforms of the system but allowed to one day medvedev say this today - by economically strengthening russia and avoiding too much foreign investment (involvement).

It doesn't matter who will win! The country is ran by Ukrainian oligarchs and if you think for one second that they will let Ukraine get any closer to Russia you are a fool. They will never allow Putin have control over Ukrainian resources.
President has only so much power just like in any other country. You are a grown up man stop talking nonsense like a capricious child.

BS. Russia's protection of a few monopolies and blocking of any serious competition, corruption and state control are the reasons for WTO objection to Russia's membership. At this stage it is hard to trust Russia. Look at Ukraine! No problem. Democracy and transparency is the key and Ukraine managed to show that its capable of being an honest trading partner.

What he said was true but don"t expect a retard like you to understand anyway. New Khrushchev? For one thing Medvedev is not even a communist.

Russia has alot of monogorod towns Asbest or Tolyatti. Learn what the word "Monogorods towns" means before you open your ignorant mouth. Monogorod towns like Pikalevo can"t survive because they are based entirely around one industry.

Understand now STUPID?

What do you think Lenin was trying to do moron? But even Lenin said that you can change backward agricultural country into a modern industrial nation but you can"t take the peasant out of the Russian Horde.

Pisces

This is another good day to be tactful, and if anything you'll be even more successful than you were yesterday. This is not to be sneezed at, so seize the opportunity to talk to people who can sometimes be very touchy or who need to be handled with kid gloves. If you meet someone who's older or more influential than you, you'll be a big hit with them.
