I think that Russia's concern about the small number of missils to be installed hides the truth. I think that they are more concerned about the Radar instalation because they have something to hide. Their new long range missil and new fighter planes would be under closer watch. Remember the Kurst submarine and it's testing of 300mph torpodoes?

NATO infringed most of items of that treaty. Eg broke totally all quotas on forces. And it still increases it. Why should Russia take part in actually one-side treaty, masked under mutual one?

Well, it's going to be at least two years before these missils and radars will be installed and operational. There will be lots of "huff and puff" frome both sides in the meantime. The next president will be in office before then and will have to figure out what to do---besides blaming Bush.

All any "idiot" in the world has to do, is watch on TV a speech like President Bush had this week, along with our HOR's moronic response to it, and you would have to be a complete and total "idiot" to put your defense, safety and security of your country, and its people, into the hands of the US Democratic Congress, whether you have a treaty with us, or not.
