I am of two minds. On the one hand I don't believe in prejudice against gays, even if they are a minority. But on the other hand I DON'T SEE WHY gays have to have parades and put their gayness in the face of others. Are they really that happy that they are gays or only trying to convince themselves they are. I would think a low profile would neither hurt gays nor put gayness into the face of young children.
People have their ideas, some of them religious about gays, and all sides should be sensitive to it.

Quite correct, Stefanya. After all, we don't have "straight pride" parades; neither to we consider our sexual orientation to be our entire identity.
