MOSCOW--Two Russian men have been arrested on suspicion of murdering a Japanese man who was traveling by motorbike in Russia, local investigative authorities said.

According to information received Thursday by the Japanese Consulate General in Khabarovsk, Russia, the suspects, aged 20 and 21, allegedly stabbed to death Koichi Onita, 30, from Edogawa Ward, Tokyo, to rob him of valuables while he was sleeping in a tent in a forest in the Zabaykalye region of East Siberia.
