MOSCOW, August 26 Cats land on their feet, but sometimes it is not enough to avoid trouble as the Russian owner of a then-6-year-old feline found out when she was fined for her cat falling out of a window of her apartment and straight onto someone's car.

Wow that's a tough cat! I like him.

Sounds purr-fectly fishy to me. The cat walks away unscathed but the car has a broken windscreen and rearview mirror. The car owner takes the case to court three years after the incident. Very suspicious.

But I will never understand why people who live in flats keep cats cooped up, even worse if they can fall off a balcony. At least with a dog they can take them for a walk. Cats are outdoor creatures.
