while very true I have never been to Serbia however I can read and that article says nothing about the Roma squatting there illegally. my opinion is based on the contents of the article. I'm not looking for a fight either, just saying that the article says nothing about them being on property illegally.
It's 'cause the article, especially headline, is composed in a way to misguide readers, but if you pay close attn to some paragraphs it's obvious that squatting police in any civilized country would do the same.

“Once again, authorities in Belgrade are uprooting Roma families and pushing them out on the streets WITHOUT PROVIDING ADEQUATE ALTERNATIVE HOUSING,” Nicola Duckworth, Amnesty International’s Europe and Central Asia Program Director, said in a press release."

IF specific property is not for some reason expropriated by municipality/city/fed government, which is not the case, no one is obliged, not even towards legal owner much less squatters, to provide alternative housing.

What do you think about this? It's in a legal limbo and some extreme TLC would do a miracle :P

How about implementing the old Balkan tradition, shovel the Roma into buses and drive them to the nearest border, let them be another country`s problem, right? ;)

Sorry,I've been out to the niceness of the moldavian countryside for the past 2 weeks. xP
In my own experience: 99,99% of Gypsies are shit,so I don't tend to think about shit too often, they treat themselves and their kids worse than animals so I hope they go to a rich country with lots of demented liberals and stay there.
