relax.it true that they are romanian nationality that live in moldova at one time moldova was part of romania but the romanian goverment has to be careful to make sure that the people from moldova that apply for romanian citizenship apply for the right reason and they qualyfi to be citizen of romania.we dont nead any more people to embarase us anymore.as far is making coments about usa their is no other country in the world i wanna be i would die for this country any days.go usa go.

Relax. It won't affect you any way. You are too far and I doubt you ever will return in Romania.
As for Romanian government, it has the moral duty to give back what is ours, I mean romanian citizenship.

I am sadden by the fact that such a stupid discussion is taking place. There is truth in both sides. However, let's face it, the Moldavians are our blood and they need to be loved and accepted as brothers should do. Mistake have been made and they will be made, but family remains family. I know Moldova is poor and disfunctional but going to Europe isn't the answer. There is a recession and countries own people are desperate for work and will take less kindly to people coming to work on the cheap, illegally, paying no tax. Look at Romania's reputation caused by the way thier people hehave when they go abroad. You have low social standards and will cause problems. I also hear Moldova wants to join the EU, WHY? It's not a free ticket to riches, in fact the opposite as you will see prices rise and then there will be another long battle to try and get another baltic/eastern european state to behave like civilised people. Personally I believe the EU is a waste of time and allowing the ECB to make financial decisions for many countries is a joke.

No way! they dont want the romanian cityzenship because they are romanians. they want romanian passport to fell free to work and travel without problems in in the EU! 90% of those who requested the citizenship are already working in other countries than romania most of them dont recognize that they are romanians and dont speak romanian.
