The topic is what is the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I would say let the Bible answer that.
1st John Chapter 3 verse 11 to the end.
It begins this is the message you heard from the beginning. So if it is the message they began with
and Gospel means the good news well why complicate it. All of Pauls teachings hinge on this fundamental
Love one another
11This is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another. 12Do not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own actions were evil and his brother's were righteous. 13Do not be surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you. 14We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains in death. 15Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him.
16This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. 17If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? 18Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. 19This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence 20whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.
21Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God 22and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him. 23And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. 24Those who obey his commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.

When we come into relationship with God, we have to begin to understand that “I am not a servant”! I’m not somebody that He may cut off and put in hell in the next 10 minutes. I am born of His Spirit! That is a big difference.
So many people can’t differentiate between having salvation and having a new Father. There is a big difference and you better learn it. Most of Christianity DOES NOT UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN “SALVATION” AND “BEING BORN AGAIN”
To all that receive Him [everyone that calls on the name o the Lord- shall be - saved. Say that- everyone that calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved] Now- What do you think they are saved from? They are saved from their SIN, right.
Jesus Christ was the once and for all sacrifice, glory to God! That covered those in the Old Testament that looked forward to Christ, all those that was abiding presently at the time of Christ, and to all those that would come after the sacrifice- the death - burial- and resurrection. That is awesome, where sin does abound, grace according to scripture does much more abound.
Sin covered everybody from Adam and everybody after Adam. If you were born after the natural seed line of Adam as a human being you have a sin nature. You need a new different nature!
What God does in what the Old Testament did, the blood that would go in on the Holy of Holies once a year, the blood rolled SIN back for a period of time, so that the sacrifice could come and roll Sin away, so that Sin was no longer imputed to you. It didn’t mean you didn’t mess up. Do you think that after the high priest went in there once a year into the most Holy Place and placed the Blood there, that the people never sinned again? I assure you before he got out the Court, they had done filled up the coffers again with SIN.
But the thing was that SIN was covered by the Blood. Now that blood was animal Blood and IT WAS GOOD FOR ONE YEAR! So every year the priest had to go back again, every time he applied the blood it was great, IT COCERNED THE SIN! Didn’t stop the people from sinning, but it sure did cover the sin, SO THAT JUDGEMENT FOR THAT SIN COULD BE TURNED AWAY! That’s awesome, what a plan, thank you Lord.
Now He brings Jesus- now you got remember under the blood of the animals THE SIN PUNISHMENT COULD NOT BE CARRIED OUT ON THE PEOPLE, AS LONG AS THE PRIEST DID HIS DUTY, THEY WERE COVERED! If you never made it to Jerusalem as long as the high priest did his deal and you were looking and called by that name, THE BLOOD COVERED YOU! How awesome is that! THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.
Most of Christianity doesn’t know this. They don’t have a clue, that the BLOOD covered them and every time that high priest did what he did, it kept rolling the punishment of SIN back for another year.
Well God hated that, that the animals were being sacrificed for the misdeeds of man kind. But it was temporary. It could never the book of Hebrews says; It could never take away SIN. What it did was, it blocked the punishment! The goal of God was to take away SIN. Notice not take away your SINS, BUT TAKE SIN ITSELF AWAY. You see SIN HAD TO GO. Sin was introduced by Adam. Life and sinless perfection was introduced by Christ!
In Adam all die! IN CHRIST ALL ARE MADE ALIVE! So the blood that was under the old that kept having to be shed every year for the SIN of the people, kept the judgment of that SIN off the people, but it never stopped the people from SINNING! It just stopped the judgment from coming.

Well here comes Christ and what Christ did, as long as the law was in place and they were disobedient to God, and here all this SIN kept coming and coming, God said high priest get in there, go do your deal and throw that Blood on the mercy seat and when I see the Blood, I am going to roll it back for another year.
So here comes Jesus. DO YOU KNOW WHAT HE WAS? HE WAS THE LAST SACRIFICE AND THERE WOULD NEVER BE ANOTHER NEEDED! Because God was no longer going to cover SIN! You see people today, thinks that Blood keeps covering Sin- NO- THE BLOOD TOOK AWAY SIN! What HE did was, He took the hand writing of ordinances that imputed Sin to you, that kept making you sin [love the lord thy god with all thy heart, thy mind, thy soul with all thy strength, and love thy neighbor as thy self, don’t steal, don’t lie, are you kidding me.] So here comes all this stuff and Jesus says; no more I am nailing all this to the cross! THAT IS WHY SIN IS NOT IMPUTED TO YOU, IF YOU ARE IN CHRIST!
Now what salvation does- salvation takes you out from under the Law and puts you in Christ! That is very important! Because what it means is – YOUR SIN IS COVERED, but what it hasn’t done IS CHANGE YOUR NATURE!
John gives us a clue, TO ALL WHO RECEIVE HIM, TO THEM HE GIVES THE POWER TO BECOME SONS OF GOD. To all who receive Him, all who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. In other words, everyone that calls on the name of Jesus- THEIR SIN IS COVERED, but it has never changed their nature. You still have the Adamic nature. BUT YOU SIN IS COVERED BY THE LAST SACRIFICE FOREVER!
There are so many people that struggle with I’M SAVED- NO IAM NOT SAVED, YES I AM SAVED, NO IAM NOT SAVED, WAKE UP! If you are not saved then the Blood of Jesus was worst than the Blood of bulls and goats. NOW IS THE BLOOD OF JESUS WORST THAN THE BLOOD OF BULLS AND GOATS IN THE OLD TESTEMENT, OR IS IT BETTER? TELL ME, SAY IT IS BETTER!
Now the Blood of the Old Testament covered Sin; I don’t care if he sinned the moment the high priest dropped the Blood on the mercy seat that Blood covered you for 1 year! That was pretty sweet! The blood of bulls and goats, BUT HERES THE THING that Sin would always come up next year. Most preachers think that under the New Covenant with better sacrifices and with better promises that sin comes up every moment. Well I love Jesus over here now and I mess up, they say well you just went to hell dude. I’m serious that’s the imagination that you can go from this place or state OF SINLESS AWESOMENESS OF IN CHRIST, and you step over and blow it for a second and now you are going to hell. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? They don’t understand what God did!

We have to understand what He did, what He took for you. If you are in Christ, He has already moved you out of the realm of darkness. You see the dark realm had all the imperfections and everything that kept you in jeopardy at all times. I am going to tell you it is the same thing, perception and relationship is everything all over again. If you think you are closely related to the kingdom of darkness and that you are closely related to sin; then you expectation is, the opportunity for sin will come and get me and when I blow it, God is not going to like me, and when I need things, He will not give them to me because I am not doing what I need to be doing. Remember this while you still His enemy He died for you, BUT NOW YOU ARE HIS CHILD.
You see we have to wake up! Don’t throw your brain away keep your brain in tact. We need to see the old only to see the new. When you see the old, you know that wasn’t bad, 40 years in the wilderness and their clothes did wear out, pretty good, 40 years they didn’t have to go after their food, He just dropped it off at their door, there it was, He just delivered the manna to the front door, didn’t have to go to Krogers, all the water they needed, can you imagine perfect heat and cool all the time, isn’t that awesome! This was provision to people that hated Him, were not born again, and He knew that they were going to rebel against Him and die in the wilderness, He knew that. Did that keep God from being Faithful? Absolutely not! Now that is the Old that the Old Covenant!
Now pull that over into the New, those were people that hated Him that were going to rebel against Him and die in the wilderness.
YOU ARE HIS CHILDREN THAT IS GOING TO BE WITH HIM FOREVER! You see there has to be a shifting in our understanding of where we are and what Christ accomplished. Because where He brought us to should give us a whole different perspective and a whole different perception about our expectations when we go to God, because God wants us to have is everything that Jesus died for us to have!

Oh is this a fact?? Then I wonder why Paul said this.....
Ephesians 2:1 And you [hath he quickened], who were dead in trespasses and sins;
Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
So is this PHYSICAL or SPIRITUAL death??
Ephesians 2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by NATURE the CHILDREN of wrath, even as others.
Well, look at this! This says that we are sinners by NATURE. So is Paul lying again? Children of wrath?? How about it?
<quoted text>
All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. The whole world is prisoner of sin. All mankind are sinners. That's what the entire Bible teaches from Genesis to Revelation.

The Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is best explained and exposed by apostle Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles, in I Corinthians Chapter 15. Notice that in this chapter, Paul focused on Christ death, burial and resurrection, and then mentioned witnesses of Christ's appearances after his resurrection. In short, the Gospel is Jesus Christ, and it is good news for all sinners, because by receiving and believing in Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior, sinners like us can be saved and reconciled to our God, who created us for Him. The Gospel or Good News therefore, is that Jesus Christ paid the penalty of our sins to God, by His death on the Cross, so that we may no longer die an eternal death in Hell but be forgiven by God and receive instead eternal life in Christ, that is live forever and ever in Heaven together with God. Isn't it Good News??? We, sinners, are given such hope, that instead of being doomed to go to Hell because of our sinful state, Jesus Christ died for us so we can be saved from the coming wrath of God.
