Southern Baptists have made a name for themselves and it's not Christian.

Hatred, bigotry and prejudice adds up to hypocricy not Christian.

Its a good idea that the Baptist executive is proposing.

Using the name of John the Baptist for a business interest is un·con·scion·a·ble.

Think about it Gods son became violently angry with those who were using the temple, a place were he cause his personal name to reside as a place of business.

The name isn't from John the Baptist, it's from the term AnaBaptist or re-baptizer.

Their may be some vague siumlaritys of the Anabaptists and the Baptisit of today but they are not mentioned in wiki research.
In any case turning the Holy scriptures into a business interest is not something an immediate member of God's family would have or be a part of.

At the destruction of Jersulam is where transacting business ended. And, nor was it prophesised to be resurrected. Mathew 24:1-3

QUOTE: Several existing denominational bodies may be regarded as the successors of the continental Anabaptists: Amish, Brethren, Hutterites, Mennonites and to some extent the Bruderhof Communities. Some historical connections have been demonstrated for all of these spiritual descendants, though perhaps not as clearly as the noted institutionally lineal descendants. Although many see the more well-known Anabaptist groups (Amish, Hutterites and Mennonites) as ethnic groups, the Anabaptist bodies of today are no longer composed mostly of descendants of the continental Anabaptists. Total worldwide membership of the Mennonite, Brethren in Christ and related churches totals 1,616,126 (as of 2009) with about 60 percent in Africa, Asia and Latin America.[45]

In the 1600s, Baptists acquired their name through their practice of believer’s baptism by immersion..."

Not only did the business of religion end at the destruction of Jerusalem but also the use of structures dedicated to worship.

The importance of the Jerusalem Temple structures was for formal worship, a place where God caused his name to reside signifying his presence.

Yeshua forewarned his disciples the Romans would assert their intention followed by a great tribulation not only to his fleeing disciples but the Jerusalem society of that time. The great tribulation for that world(society) wasn't to be repeated again since it wasn't to be rebuilt or brought back. Mathew 24:15

“...for then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now, no, nor will occur again." Mathew 24:21

Although the Jewish people may have believed the temple would be rebuilt keeping with the pattern of the past it being rebuilt after destruction but at the time of God’s son a change occurred where the individuals who become a part of God’s immediate family with divine nature in their future were the temple.

“Do You not know that You people are Gods temple, and that the spirit of God dwell in YOU” 1Corinthians 3:16

The hearsay is the temple people of God informally gathered together once a week, for the most part in small intimate setting using each others homes…were as it was the people of the nations who used Temple structures in the worship of their gods. It should be noted they gradually pulled away from using the Synagogues as a place of worship since their message would put them at odds with opposers. Mathew 24:17

It can be seen the standards God has set for his immediate family members no longer requires a dedicated structure for the worship of the father in spirit and truth.

yeshua(jesus) prophesied Mathew 24:15 as a signal for the disciples to flee Jersulam which according to wikepedia (joseph) occurred in 66ce. 11.09.13 1:33 PM EST
