But there are 3: Devil/dragon/man of sin and Beast and False Prophet.
Here: And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Rev 20:10 (KJV)
The devil is on the rise. He is the man of sin; here,
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition
2 Thess 2:3 (KJV)
The devil is the man of sin - son of perdition as in one person.
The Beast is a nation: who can make war with the beast. He is of the Antichrist system.
Those that came out of the early NT church follow into Egypt and on to Rome forming the Catholic church. They were Clement of Alexandra, Origen, Titan (more) to Eusebius who wrote the Catholics bible from the Egyptian strain of text.
So you have 3, all under the Star of Lucifer = Hexagram. The most powerful Satanic symbol.
As shown the beast and false prophet will decrease while the man of sin increases. BTW; the man of sin is in full control of the Papal treasures and owns over half the wealth of the world. His model is found in Eze 28 and the man of sin has duplicated this today.
While the 'dragon' is Satan, the 'man of sin' spoken of was a reference instead to Daniel's 'little horn' with "eyes like the eyes of a man". The Reformers correctly understood this to be a reference to Rome's empire from Dn 2 fourth empire.
Yet, Dn 7 tells us this little horn becomes the fourth beast then found in Rev 13, and that a 'beast' is not a nation-horn, rather a 'beast' is an empire (Dn 7:23) correlating with the four empires or kingdoms of previous chapter Dn 2.
The 'false prophet' is only mentioned as another reference to Rome at a point when Rome created Christian-Zionism.
The Papacy is the AntiChrist.
The Papacy's empire is the beast.
The Papacy is the harlot of babylon.
The Papacy is the false prophet.
The Protestant Reformers had this right and the Christians of today have been deceived by false doctrine since Scofield c.1900.
Not selling any denomination but Steve Wohlberg correctly covers some of this..
