I don't know that anyone hates the Catholic church in America. The RCC has a well documented history and it was not a good history,so that is why many stay away from Catholicism. The RCC had its inception around the time of Constantine and it was originally the church of God. However in a relatively short time it became a political system that was a church in name only. The history of the RCC is one of wars and killing of christians who would not bow down to it. Many christian have considered it the whore of Babylon. All one has to do is honestly study the New Testament and compare it to the history of the RCC. According to the evidence, the RCC has been a political system for most of its existence and sometimes a very corrupt system. So the RCC is not the church of God, but it did began as a church of God. In America the Catholic church is just another religion classified as christian and some of its members are probably christian(in my opinion).

The priests are gay a lot. The Church also says their doctrine is evil. It is taught in the church. A lot of times in christian churches there is the sentiment that we are good and they are bad.

Mother Mary thing and the pope too.

I answered your allegations in the other thread, and I am waiting for your response.

Kephas22 is correct. Ignorance is the problem.

I, personally, find Catholics to be far more moral and Christ-like on the whole than I do fundamental Protestants.

i think maybe its because in the history of Baptist christians, the Catholics are the one who persecuted them,US!!!
they called us heretics!even the infallible word of God is forbidden on those times because bishops and other high rank catholics ...if a man will be found reading the bible will be punished and be called as HERETICS,
through....
burn at the stake, crucified, crucified head downward, confiscate their ways of livings(land especially),houses burn'etc.!!!

Firstly, Catholics did NOT persecute Baptists, because Baptists weren't even in existance during the Roman Age. Baptists didn't even come into play until 1611, which if you can do math is WAY after when you are implying we persecuted you. Secondly, Catholics themselves were persecuted by the Romans who weren't Catholic. They punished us through crucifiction to attempt to prove to us that Jesus wasn't God and that He can't save us. Saint Paul asked to be crucified upside down in respect towards Jesus. He was convicted of being Christian and when they told Paul that he was to be crucified, Paul asked to be crucified upside down. With this all in mind, your comment is NOT vaild since you failed to prove that Baptists were even around at the time you are implying persecution happened. Furthermore, you failed to give any actual reason as to why Baptists should hold such a grudge against Catholics, if we actually persecuted you. Last I checked Baptists preached on FORGIVNESS, not grudge holding, because that, my dear friend, is what you call a sin.

Catholics do NOT worship idols, men, saints, angels, etc. We worship GOD. We honor the saints, which is NOT worship. You need to get educated and learn the difference, please and thank you..

The priests are gay a lot. Wow never heard such ignorance in my life and a liar too. Its ok God will forgive you, ask Jesus. I don't think anyone should hold annomosity about another faith. I rather think that would actually go against the will of god. But Who knows Like you said you really do your research how long did you hold your breath? lol

the Universal church has been around since shortly after jesus. Does it mean that men who come into a holy position are not able to make mistake, of course not. The catholic church never stopped anyone from studying the word of god the first mass printer and moveable type was not till the Gutenburg press. In the 1500's the press allowed the expansion of copies.

I have been studying the Catholic Church for the last year and have been very surprised at the actual church. It is an inclusive church of love and acceptance. The bible and especially the Gospel is stressed everyday. We study the Bible.

It does not speak badly of any other religions or denominations. It does not worship idols.

I have found great peace in the Catholic Church.

I was raised Catholic all my life and through my marriage attended Baptist Church for the good of my family. I eventually left the Baptist faith and returned to the Catholic Church. Before I elaborate, I must say I myself am a non-denominational Christian. The reason for this is the teachings of Jesus Christ which are all about unity and nothing about division. During my time at the Baptist Church I heard numerous divisional messages including judgements about other faiths and them not getting into heaven. Political messages from the congregation which were aligned with the Republican Party and in general these judgement which eventually helped me to make the decision to return to the Catholic faith. The bible is clear that we should be unified in our praise to God John 17:21. Jesus speaks only of a unified presence in God. Any church which teaches division or passes judgements on other men for their beliefs is specifically disobeying Gods laws. There is no man on this planet which is capable of judging anyone. The bible speaks of Judge not and ye shall not be judged. Likewise, all of Jesus teachings are one of unity and oneness in the Father. After spending 3 years at the Baptist church I eventually returned to the Catholic church as a non-denominational Christian. I would like to not choose sides in this regard as I see that as doing no good at all. Simply to say that if you judge other faiths, gays, or any other people you are playing God, as we will all face judgement in the end. The philosophy of acceptance of others is directly what Jesus taught us to do. The laws are clear in the bible. It is better to direct followers of Christ to follow these laws then to chastise them and judge them. This is God's territory. People passing judgements on others is in direct conflict with Jesus teachings. While I am a non denomination Christian for the reason that denomination means to divide into similar lots, I am much more free to be the Christian Christ wanted me to be in the Catholic Church. They accept me for who I am. My wife has refused to go with me to the Catholic Church saying we worship idols and saints. That is the brainwashing judgement that has been placed on her by the Baptist church. Anyone who is really following the ways of Christ must accept others! That is what he taught. Casting others out for any reason is in direct conflict with the words of Jesus Christ. This is simply a side note, as I believe politics should remain free from Church. Many times during my days at the Baptist Church I heard church goes make slants against president Obama and the church was obviously aligned with the republican party! It is hard to follow Jesus if you are always going against his teachings!
