Right on. I agree. I am constantly reminded how God's word is flouted even firm believers refuse to act according to Deuteronomy 21:18-21 King James Version (KJV):

18 If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them:

19 Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;

God gave Israel their space and Jesus came just as prophesied per Daniel exactly when to the date listed. Daniel's prophecy was 70 Sabbaths. It began in 457 BC and ended in the 70th Sabbath with the ushering into the Kingdom of the Gentiles.

Do the math and read the scriptures: Jesus was born in September (probably the ninth, per Luke 2 and was crucified ~Passover 30 AD and 40 yrs later the temple was destroyed via the providence of God.

God has kept His promises - all of them. Additional short reads; Eze 8 and Jer 3.

Daniel is not a book of prophecy. All of the LEGITIMATE Messianic prophecies show that Jesus was NOT the Messiah, since he failed to fulfill MOST of them.

Here's the Messianic prophecy to the year:
Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. 25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. 26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. 27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Dan 9:24-27 (KJV) The whole thing was fulfilled in 490 years from the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist to the stoning of Stephen and Paul. Why is it that those claiming not to know speak out of the other side of their mouth saying they do. Maybe you should pay closer attention to verse 24.

Now apply to Daniel and do the math: 457BC to Jesus' resurrection and the stoning of Stephen = 490 years fulfilling the 70 Sabbaths prophecy.
