If you two do not care what religion your children choose, then it can work. If your Sikh man is a baptized Sikh, then he absolutely cannot marry you because it goes against the Sikh Code of Conduct, which is mandatory for baptized Sikhs to follow. The 10th Guru told his Sikh followers to marry only Sikhs because inter-faith marriages are extremely tough. Only a Sikh can understand a Sikh. It is not a sin for unbaptized Sikhs to marry outside the religion, but it is not recommended.

Some Muslim girl wanted to marry me and told me to convert to Islam. I told her no because Sikhism is more important to me. Then she said you can stay a Sikh, but you have to come to the mosque with me. I told her she has to do the same for me by coming to the Gurdwara. At first, she was hesitating because she did not know what Sikhism was or what our place of worship was like. I asked her about what the kid is going to be. She was like they have to be Muslim. That is when I told her to get lost and go chase a Muslim man instead of me. I even told her that she was not a true Muslim, but she didn't want to hear it.

One of my far distant relative, who is a turbaned Sikh, married a Irish Catholic woman and their marriage is excellent. She dresses like an Indian and goes to the Gurdwara and he goes to the Church with her. I haven't talked to their kids for a while, but I don't think they claim a religion. They just believe in one God and just pray. I don't know much about them. I see them as more Catholics because they cut their hair.

Is your man a turbaned Sikh or Mona Sikh (haircut Sikh)? Mona Sikhs are the ones that cut their hair. Does his parents have a problem with you as well? Tell your parents to be thankful you are with a Sikh guy instead of a Muslim guy. It could be worse.

Since he is a Mona Sikh, you can marry him (unless you two are already married) since I believe he has no plans of becoming a baptized Sikh. You two cannot have a Sikh wedding since you are Catholic, so you two would have to get married in a Catholic Church. HAHA. LOL. My parents would break everything in the house and then pass out if I married a Muslim too.

<quoted text>She said "The kids HAVE to be Muslims". Anyways, I would not want my kids to be Muslims. I never met a person true to their religion except one family. I know only one Sikh woman, who is absolutely true to Khalsa Panth. I didn't expect that chick to be a true Muslim, but I didn't expect her to be annoying either. What kind of Muslim girl tells a non-Muslim guy that their kids have to be Muslim? If she wants her kids to be Muslims so badly, why did she ask me to marry her? She was stupid too, but still nice in a naive way.
she seems very easy to persuade, ghasti saali

nothing wrong with driving in fact prophet Mohammad(SAW) recommended that girls learn how to ride horses which was the method of transport back then and walking behind ur husband is old fashioned
