Bollywood against sikhs??

I love hindi films but my parents hate them, they say they corrupt us and use sikhs as idiots in them
Also alot of the actors go on to be politicians against punjab, do u think this is true?
Apparently Amitabh Bachan gave a speech during 1984 - blood for blood and was with the gandhis the whole time - unbelieveable seeing as he demonstrates alot of punjabi-ness in his films ?
Anyone shed some light ?

Dont watch it.
Create your own films the way u would like o be potrayed for your nezt generation ideals.
As such Bhojpuris , tamils movies are making bollywood run for there money.

Manjeet film making is not about charity.
It is a commercial venture and needs audience to be sucessful.
So either u give a guranteed audience which is willing to see Sikhs in movies way you likethme to be shown.
or else u got to suit to the taste buds of audience

That is absolute nonsense. In this country there used to be racist jokes in the media - Legislation sorted that out. Made no difference to the audience.

Wot the hell r u lot on abt, Sihks are seem as strong powerful figures in Bollywood, as for present in Bollywood Deols aside they are a dynasty but in reality all the indians are from punjaab but filmi wise they are a mix of all. Sihks in bollywood, border, gardar, shaheed udam singh(Raj Babar), Lagaan ( Big singh), so look a bit harder.

hello ppl! i m a sikh n i really wanna cut my hair n all coz of the followng reasons:
1. gals run away from me...belive it i have heard it from most beautiful of gals..they just dont like us...i was seeing a girl for some time and she was bonding well wid me.. when a frnd of hers remarked to her.."tu saradr ke sath ja rahe.chee.u ll get his beard while kissing him"since then and now we r just good friends....

2. i myself dont like hair on my body...so damm dirty, takes so much time to tie turban n fix beard.. i dont look cool to myself

and ppl not having nails makes sense too.. i mean why afterall why dont we cut hair? bcoz its a gift from God.. then we shouldnt cut out nails too...and as far as sikh gals r concerned, they go n wax their arms n legs..why doesnt any1 stop them huh?? ppl i really wanna cut hair and wanna talk this to my dad... plz help me n tell me how.......

i ve so far havent found any trouble in impressing the gals around me...i am a keshdhari sikh...and i can tell u from my expirience that the things which are more important in such cases are attitude and tacts of handling ur gal fren...and also as an advice be with one gal at a time...!
