I don't agree with the evolutionary rhetoric but they do make the observation that the culture was very sophisticated.

There was probably a lot of paganism practiced in that area after the original fall.

Shalom.

I wouldn't go so far to say this is the garden of eden. There are pagan graven images which goes against Yahweh's Laws,I would have to go along the lines of this site being some part of Nimrod's kingdom.

Genesis 10:8"And Cush begat Nimrod:he began to be a Mighty One[Elohim] in the earth. He was a mighty hunter before Yahweh:wherefore it is said,Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before Yahweh. And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel[Babylon],and Erech and Accad, and Calneh,in the land of Shinar.Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah,And Resen between Nineveh and Calah:the same is a great city.[the principal city]."

See also Genesis 11:1-4. Nimrod's kingdom was the first city in the earth.

And neither would I.

Nor that "Gobekli Tepe is the most important archaeological site in the world."
However, it did make an interesting read.

If I could ever believe any of the dates these guys come up with it would help.
Standing stones is nothing great.

And yea people were good at sculpting back then.
Is it Eden?
Who knows, the only thing there we knew about was a garden. I doubt Adam and Eve did all that work.

Eden found??!! Gather up swords and let's storm the portal!! Take back what a poor snack choice lost us!!!!!!

Shakespeare's EGW V Act 3 Scene 1

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more, or close the wall up with our SDA dead!

In peace there's nothing so becomes a man as modest vegetarianism and prayerful vigilance,
But when the blast of papacy blows in our ears, then imitate the action of the Beasts of Revelation:
Stiffen the 10 horns, summon up the wine of her fornication,
Disguise fair nature with seven-headed wroth,
Then lend the eye a demonic aspect,
........
I see you stand like locusts ready for plague on the wing,
Straining upon the start. The Great Controversy's afoot.
Follow your non-alcoholic spirit, and upon this charge
Cry “God for EGW, Loma Linda, and Battle Creek!”

“Jeremiah Was A Bullfrog!!”

Another problem you have with your proclamation of Eden rediscovered is that it's an archeoligical site and the discoverers weren't greeted with a sword-wielding uber-being with wings!!

There's no biblical support for Eden crumbling into archeoligical ruin!! Adam and Eve were cast out of "perfect paradise" to face the rigors of the earth, Eden survived their departure.

You're a bible thumping fiend with new-age blinkers, in all, a sorry mishmash of speculation, portent and wilful ignorance!!

Thats what they stated, according to Ellen White God took the garden away. That could of been the location based on what they stated. If occult or pagan stuff was found there well its because the devil always likes to take what once belonged to the Creator. The bottom line is that Eden is to be restored. I hope you can be there with us. God bless you Flash.

I believe I read it somewhere but I don't remember. I would much rather stick to Revelation 22 and the earth made a new.

Well scripture says that God put an Angel at the way, with a sword that flashed every which way to KEEP they WAY, Which, to me, sounds like a LIGHTHOUSE,

Gen 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

The TREE OF LIFE was taken away. You can look that up. Well The tree EVE ate from was also taken away.

Thank you for your answer :-)

A lighthouse ... interesting thought :-) Lighthouse is to give light to the lost/traveler to guide them in safely but the flaming sword flashing every which way was to keep them from entering back in....
