<quoted text>Well all that came out of Christ and the Apostles were Sabbath Keeping, but thats why the Roman Catholic church persecuted and destroyed those who would not follow Sunday as the day of worship.
Actually all faiths have roots to the universal Catholic church and any others are pop up protestants of varying flavours. The Catholic church has changed the day because all are no longer required to observe the Sabbath and now Sunday is the Lords day of worship, but it is not a sin to work. This is freedom from slavery.

We are actually told very clearly in the NT that we are not to judge over the Sabbbath in Col 2:14-16. We are further instructed that we should enter into the Sabbath rest with Jesus in Hebrews ch4.

**"Having cancelled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us and which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him. Therefore let no one act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a SABBATH day- things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ." (Col 2:14-16)

**This is what Rudi and Sabbos suggest does not mean exactly what it says. They twist and invent this fabricated criterion of a ceremonial law. It is a nonsense. There is no such distinction of the ‘law’ and Sabbos cannot scripturally support this fabrication.

"So the Lord commanded us to observe ALL these STATUTES, to fear the Lord our God for our good always and for our survival, as it is today. "It will be righteousness for us if we are careful to observe ALL THIS COMMANMENT before the Lord our God, just as He commanded us." (Deuteronomy 6:24-25)

Deuteronomy chapters 5-6 proves interchangeability of terms and disproves any distinction between the 10 commandments and what Sabbatarians falsely call the ceremonial law. We have all seen how the OT uses terms like commandments, statutes, ordinances interchangeably.

Interchangeability of terms in Nehemiah 8:1-18 also proves there is no distinction found in the Old Testament laws of God and Moses! Nehemiah 8 uses interchangeably without distinction in the following terms: "the book of the law of Moses", "the law", "the book of the law", "the law of God", "book of the law of God".

We are further told in Ephesians 2:15 that the LAW with its COMMANDS and regulations were set aside……

Ephesians 2:15 “by setting aside in his flesh the law with its COMMANDS and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace.”

When we are told to not judge over Sabbaths it means the Sabbath day rest and all Sabbath keeping as Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath now. Most of Christendom have got this right and it explains why Jesus never bothered to mention the Sabbath day rest. A ‘Sabbath rest’ is only spoken of in Hebrews ch4 as being required to 'enter' into the Sabbath rest, not 'keep' it. Hosea also prophesied the stopping of the Sabbath.

The debt and law that was nailed to the cross and fulfilled was the entire 'law', including all Sabbath keeping and the 10 commandments.

Jesus actually rolled the 9 commandments over from that which we should not do and showed us how these are shadows that now inform what we should do, love God and our neighbour, and replaced the Sabbath with Himself. In this way the 10 commandments are set aside yet continue to have meaning and be enforced in the New Covenenant with Jesus. Sabbatarians refuse to ‘get it’ because then they can't sprooke their doomsay.

Sabbatarians have fabricated thier ceremonial law distinction.

Wow! Angel Fire, I don't know who you are or where you came from to join us here, but what a breath of fresh air! What a joy to read the post of someone who actually "gets is!!!" God bless you. This is what I've been saying here for two years, and have been called names, told I'm headed for the "lake of fire," and had verbal boulders lobbed in my direction endlessly (which actually doesn't bother or deter me one bit). How refreshing to read your post!

Thank you for your kind words.

Yes, all the Sabbatarians I know use the fabrication of some 'cerominal' law distinction to twist the scriptures. It is totally unscriptural and founded on absolutely nothing.

Certainly Jesus gave us some new commands one of which is to not judge others, ever, particularly over the Sabbath. Sabbatarians fail miserably at obeying this commandment. The other weird thing is that all these 500 faiths likely still condemn each other over other nonsense.

Nice to meet you Grammy.

A ‘Sabbath rest’ is only spoken of in Hebrews ch4 as being required to 'enter' into the Sabbath rest, not 'keep' it.“Today” is now Gods chosen day.

SABBATARIANS HAVE FABRICATED THEIR CEROMONIAL LAW DISTINCTION.

<quoted text>Wow!
Oh my goodness, what an ignorant bunch of pretend Christians you are stuck with. Don't worry, they are all the same these sects. I have just left one Sabbo a gibbering mess on another thread and he is still gibbering. He is much the same as these Sabbos here, full of attitude, ego, ridicule and heroism and not much else.

Did you see the BIG Malachi spin mine? So this wonder man quotes a scripture and goes quack quack quack doomsay..and he reckons he has contributed to the discussion.

I might leave you to it. There is nothing intelligent going on here apart from you.

Hi AF,

If you hang around long enough, and I hope you do, you'll soon realize who bear the fruits of christianity and who don't.

Lost worker and the boy from "Brampton" (takes a new name each few weeks) are morally bankrupt characters that are but empty gongs and clanging cymbals.

Grammy and CB are 'diamonds' that you can trust.

Oh look Firefly is trying to light up the
discussion with the usual vague nonsense.
It aint about the Sabbath handwaving dooode at all which has been made the hallmark of the laity and elders within Laodicea
Nothing in the latest flutter
from firefly about the cermonial makes any sense.
Be interesting to see how firefly explains Malachi chapter 4.
The readers are waiting
Yes, waiting for you to cease your endless verbal flailing and flapping, which you [falsely] believe is witty, clever and humorous!
