Leo Schreven has come up with the idea of placing an add about the Sabbath on the televised version of the Superbowl. I personally think it's a great idea. Just wondering what other people thought. For more details go to: www.goallpower.com/superbowl .

So

did Jesus' disciples go to the Colosseum [Flavian Amphitheatre] the Superbowl of their day and walk around its perimeter with sandwich boards on their shoulders and with a home made megaphone [electronic version of their day] above the hypogeum to a standing ovation and then with smiles on their faces [escorted by the gladiators] entering the bleachers handing out vegetarian hotdogs and ask the audience for their interest in Jesus.

Or was it that they were victims of the ?

Jeffo -

Wouldn't it be a great idea for him to place a Superbowl ad that said this:

Cursed is SDA that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. Galations 3:10

Now you know what a Christian thinks!

That superbowl ad is an abomination to God.

Why are we so eager to present strange fire before His throne?!

Leo Scriven has no clue as to what the time of trouble is all about. At that time there will NOT be any football being played--as people will be wondering what the truth really is. Try reading about it in Revelation and you tell me that the world will be like it is today!

Besides, the fourth commandment is only ONE of the ten commandments and by believing in EGW and Paul's writings, he has placed them above the words of God, thereby breaking the first three commandments. Anyone in the Adventist church want to throw the first stone??? Hmmm?

Mentioned Christ Jesus Once.

Mentioned the Sabbath well....

144,000 needed?? LOL

He might say he's on fire for Christ but his own words prove otherwise.

Is there any evidence that they had such methods of advertising? The early Christ advertised Christ as they died for Christ.

CB, that wasn't that ad. That was the pitch to make and finance the ad.

Most Christians already know who He is.

Brother DJ, The sabbath message although an important message is simply not the Great commission given to Christians.

A person on fire for Christ Jesus will promote His message, IMHO.

The guy has the right idea to reach the most people. The sustance of the message if not conviction of a sinful life, repentance unto salvation and the message of the Cross will simply result in the same ending every time - smoke break - coffee break - need some fresh air - change the channel looking for pepsi commercial - fix another plate of food.

No one claimed that it was the Great Commission. The ad is aimed at people who already claim to be Christians.

Preach it, brother!

The Sabbath is about the =====> "LORD" <===== of the Sabbath. Jesus Christ. We worship Him, not the day/Sabbath.

:-)

Hi CB I pray all is well with you.

Leo is a businessman and you can be sure...

It would be better to get a box of The Fourth Dilemma from ABC or Review & Herald for about 30c each and distribute it in your street. This booklet is printed by the hundreds of thousands for mass distribution and it is the best book EVER produced on the Sabbath and Salvation. Give to your family and friends .
