Blessed Christmas YE YE the Lord Jesus was born for all of us.....He was born for to save us from our sins to give us eternal life .....To walk with the one true God. The Hebrew God Lord Jesus promised through David. Praise be to the Living God for such a gift as Jesus. Jesus is King Jesus is Lord Jesus is the bright and morning star. Jesus is the Lilly of the Valley, Jesus is the God of all creation. Jesus is the First and the Last. Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is coming again for His own. SOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNN

Blackberry wrote: <quoted text> That is true. But Christians have the good news of salvation to share and saying "Happy Christmas" is the key to the door of many. It prompts them to ask and by asking, learn the truth. Nope. Dont work like that at all. Such has nothing to do with the Everlasting Gospel.

Pete-o wrote: <quoted text> I would add the fir tree predated the use for Christmas by PAgans. Yep. Also, the date corresponds with pagan winter solstice rituals. Same with Easter; pagan holidays that were adopted into christian doctrine. The same themes have repeated many times with many religions. You don't suppose Lori thought that Dec. 25 has an actual historical or verifiable link to anything from christian history do you? Or that winter celebrations on or about Dec. 25th are actually unique to christianity?

olasonn wrote: <quoted text> Just another attempt by christians to take a pagan holiday and monopolize it. "Happy holidays" is a non-devisive greeting, one which everyone should embrace unless their goal is to alienate people of different or no faith. Lori's need to shove "CHRISTmas" demands in others face for the obviously self-righteous feelings she gets, regardless of how anyone else might feel, is a great example of her acting negatively and failing to accept the responsibility. She will act as though she isn't even aware she is being hateful, mean, ugly, or any of the other complaints she makes about others. Could anyone be that oblivious? I doubt it. More likely passive-aggressive attempts to assert herself in anyway possible, even if it just makes her look pathetic.

SOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNN Even though your bible states explicitly that no one will know the time of the 'second coming' you have no problems making baseless assertions? Not concerned at all that you sound completely foolish and unaware that people have been making the **exact** same claim for the last 2000 years. Ignorance is bliss, I guess.

Lori norskigirl wrote: <quoted text>It's christMAS,LIKE IT OR NOT. Just like Easter,a day to Celebrate the RESURRECTION of Jesus Christ,my Lord and Savior ! Easter is a pagan holiday, silly. The whole 'resurrection' idea is based on the world emerging from the grip of winter and returning to life after all seemingly 'died' during the cold months. The roots predate christianity by 1000s of years. Do you just think time began with christianity or something? Ever actually try reading history? Nah, that would be like work and might actually challenge your belief(which if you were sincere and confident in your beliefs wouldn't be a problem to investigate historical concepts). Its easier for you to live in the world of your own delusion and fear all intellectual challenges to the supposedly 'all mighty'. Must not be that 'all mighty' if people are afraid to even consider historical context. Sort of a empty suit of a god.

chris wrote: He is coming again for His own. SOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNN One more thought on this. Why are the so-called christians here having such a difficult time distinguishing between what can actually be supported by evidence and what they just *want* to be real or supported? It's the very definition of the word "faithiness" and/or "truthiness": having faith or believing that something is true, regardless of whether that something is actually true(and even when that thing can be shown to be untrue the belief still persists). It's a type of cognitive dissonance that occurs with great frequency among the believers of supernatural entities. Even though your bible says no one will know, you just can't help but pretend you *do* know and are completely unashamed to exhibit that you don't even respect the very words in the book that you keep babbling about. Have some respect for yourself and the basic reasoning abilities of others. Or maybe you are just one of hundreds of millions of people that *feel* they are prophets or some how on a higher plane than the rest of your fellow adherents? Anyone else have thoughts on that? I think how perception and the self-made belief structures that humans tend to build in order to find comfort in a wide open world to be fascinating.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Am I jealous of christian holidays? Wow, you are really scraping the bottom of the pickle barrel today. Also, in the exact same post you say that you aren't mean or hateful, you can't help but end the post by being...wait for it...mean, ugly, and hateful!! Hilarious. Also, April fool's day isn't a holiday. I gather with friends and family for traditional American holidays just like most. Do you think Veteran's day(lots of vets in my family), birthday's, Memorial day, Thanksgiving, 4th of July, May day, New Year's Eve, or Labor day are related to your religious beliefs at all? These are non-religious holidays; aka atheistic holidays, by definition. Gosh, you really should try thinking more before you write. Its just one embarrassment after another with you.

You write hateful posts and then fail to take responsibility. You are like a cockroach(your word) and a fool(your word) and you just can't help showing me that with every post. Well then,a day set aside for you then. April Fools Day. What? You aren't making any sense, yet again. I just wrote out holidays that are meaningful to me, yet you don't have the honesty or integrity to acknowledge how foolish you sound with the April fool's day shtick, and instead choose to double-down. I am a very sweet gal,but you don't bring the best out in me,I freely admit that.Sorry,Maybe our personalities just clash? You haven't been very nice though. I really don't care what you choose to pretend to think is a suitable description for yourself. Your ability to comprehend, exhibit self-awareness, and to be objective is shown to be completely lacking, so why would your attempt to paint yourself as 'sweet' matter to me? Your posts show me what you are like, not the facade you describe above. Personalities clash? No, you are just dishonest with me and yourself. You don't like to have that reality described to you, so you start doing mental gymnastics to compensate. In psychology is called 'assimilation' as opposed to 'accommodation'. I'll let you do the research, but the concepts are well known and easily found. And then to try and blame me for your inability to control yourself is one of the most childish statements I've read from an adult. I think dishonest supernaturalists do bring out good things in me, so thank you. I may not be 'sweet', lori, but I try above all things to be honest. If you equate honesty with 'not being nice', that's a personal problem stemming from a)your tendency to assume you are right and opposing views are wrong by default, and/or b)your inability to show any kind of critical thinking.

Also,Quit making up stories,at least I'm adult enough to admit that YOU don't bring the best out in me.You haven't behaved very well to me or others at ALL. But I guess I'm supposed to excuse that right, because you think of yourself no better than an animal, so why should I expect you to act any better? You have had some childish remarks yourself, much more then me! Why don't you be honest.

I'm seeing a bunch of blah, blah, blah from lori and grams, but not a single argument based in reason or a single hint of honest reflection. The delusion will persist, which is fine with me. Just don't expect me to sacrifice honesty for whatever it is that lori is experiencing. Pathological liars don't see a problem with lying. They can justify every single one, regardless of the damage inflicted. The proof is in the pudding, as they say, and lori's pudding is false and tasteless. I don't care about lori's bones. Her words and integrity are what are continually failing to relate to reality.

I guess no one cares to discuss anything with me? I'm asking the most simple question I can think of to get started. I actually wish to know how people see God in their eyes? I want to know if you feel that there is an actual entity that can physically have son and what this entity looks like? I am a Catholic by birth and confirmation. I went to Catholic schools and at one time inspired to be a priest. Does that help any?
