I have a question for everyone who thinks SDA's have all truth.

WHo is the Bible speaking to, when it says, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock"?

Perfectly illustrated and proved, the Laodeceanness of Seventh-day Adventism.
The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is NO reason being "not the reason we are to keep the Sabbath" while for Israel that God redeemed THEM out of Egypt ON the Sabbath was THEIR, SOLE, REASON, that they were to keep the Sabbath;
and for the patriarchs before them, that God redeemed THEM out of the worlds of THEIR origin ON the Sabbath was THEIR, SOLE, REASON, that they were to keep the Sabbath;
that "God on the Seventh Day the Sabbath of the LORD GOD, FINISHED, ALL, THE WORKS, OF GOD, RESTED", and "blessed" and "hallowed", "the day The Seventh Day Sabbath of the LORD GOD", "God, THUS, CONCERNING the day The Seventh Day ... in these last days ... by the Son ... having spoken ... IF JESUS HAD GIVEN THEM REST, keeping of the Sabbath Day remains for the People of God".
This, PURE SCRIPTURE,
for Seventh-day Adventists WITHOUT EXCEPTION
is NO reason being "not the reason we are to keep the Sabbath";
is,“biblical illiteracy”;
is,“made up reason”;
is the SCRIPTURES’“bone day stupidity”.
Nice man, full marks for Seventh-day Adventist ‘TIRED RESPONSE’—FULL JUSTIFICATION IN RIGHTEOUSNESS BEFORE GOD IN CHRIST JESUS! Perfect “response” in ‘DECISION’ and PREPAREDNESS to obey God, serve Jesus Christ and follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit in all truth.
Once more, Thanks for your o so literate and Scriptural rebuttal of to you – most certainly – STRANGE doctrine …
… at this moment read and understood by a possible 68 readers who will respond in choice of reason and the road they will take in following after one master either Christ or the father of LIES like yours.
Mostly untruths here!

So again where is any substantial evidence of your claim of whole churches converting to SDA?

And when they lie on the small things can you trust them on the big ones, or on anything at all?

Alright. Let us be kind. Let us change the indefinite plural to a singular. Give us ONE church, name and address, that the whole church, went over to Seventh-day Adventist. Just one!

>>I have never before seen whole churches that are being converted to the Seventh-day Adventist message.<< That says with LYING that he had ‘seen whole churches that are being converted to the Seventh-day Adventist message’. By subtle LYING!

>>To make a long story short, nearly the whole church converted to the Adventist faith a few months after listening to a series of lectures by Pastor Nanding and receiving personal Bible studies in their homes. When I traveled to the Philippines in June, I had the privilege of baptizing 19 souls who had given themselves to the Lord and are committed to obeying the truth. In all, there are over 40 persons who have been baptized from this church.<<
This is LYING with a little less subtlety, but still is only LYING!“nearly the whole church converted to the Adventist faith” is not ‘the whole church’! And any number of “persons who have been baptized from this church” are persons “from” that church is is not, that whole church!
You are masters in LYING!

The SAME LYING next one, >>again nearly the whole church converted to the message. So far there have been four churches that have accepted the Seventh-day Adventist message<< “four churches that have accepted the Seventh-day Adventist message” includes two “from” which “churches” a number of “souls” or “persons”,“have been baptized” told is such a LYING way as to make it sound “four”,“whole church(es) converted”.

You, DJConklin, belong to a spirtual family of compulsive LIARS AND BRAGGARTS!

God shall never reward you with blessing; He CANNOT because He is Holy and Truth; but He SHALL, REWARD YOU WITH DISASTER AND EXTINCTION FOR YOUR FALSEHOODS AND FALSENESS.

I Have been a SDA for almost my entire life. I feel the need to remove myself from being a member. I am so disappointed with the SDA church. My experiences with the church are very negative. It has been extremely difficult to make friends in the church. There is no unity amongst its members. Every SDA church that I have attended is listless, and cold. If they have the truth, they certainly do not have the spirit. I was very ill for many years, and not once did I hear from any of my church members. It is like you are there, but no one notices. I do not agree with Ellen G White's teachings either. The church has used her as a second Bible and I feel that is not right. Pastor Steven Bohr quotes her a lot in his sermons. I watched him preach and it seemed that he quoted her more than he quoted the Bible. Maybe I am wrong to feel the way that I do. If am wrong then I must ask God to forgive me. The church has also planted fear in my heart. I feel if I do one little thing wrong, God will come after me with a merciless wrath. I cannot enjoy life due to feeling such horrific guilt. There is too much legalism, elitism, and lack of love in the SDA church. My cousin went to church with us one Sabbath and asked if they were having a funeral. It was the sad countenance on the people's faces, and the slow sad Sabbath music that was playing, that made him ask that question. Our church sings three hymns, a dry sermon, and a quick departure out the door. That is why I am leaving the SDA church. Our church does nothing for fun. We go to church and then go home. No one visits each other, and no contact among the members until Sabbath. Prayer meeting turns out maybe 3 to 5 members. I use to love prayer meeting, until an unpleasant occurred one night. I feel that my name is not written in the Lamb's Book of Life. I feel this due to the unsettled state my mind is in right now concerning the SDA church.

This is some of few reasons I am considering relinquishing me SDA membership.

With much love and contrition,

Colleen
