Depends on how one defines "eternal"--that one-liner by stuff shows that he/she knows NOTHING about what the SDA teaches.

Ellen White died in debt to the tune of $20,000 (back in those days!). That says a lot about the frugality of a woman who delighted in teaching others about the necessity to be temperate in all things and contented with the simple gifts of life. She being our example, why, I see no problem in racking up a tiny fortune and enjoying myself at the expense of those who look up to me, of those who will survive me. Even the prophet did it, as we say.
Only to a critics would a minus $21,000 look like one is living off "a tidy fortune"! He/she obvioulsy missed the post about how she spent the money that was coming in on helping others.

That's normal practice.

Let's straighten you out a bit, DJ.

Failed to Claim God’s Promises—I have since thought that many inmates of insane asylums were brought there by experiences similar to my own. Their consciences were stricken with a sense of sin, and their trembling faith dared not claim the promised pardon of God. They listened to descriptions of the orthodox hell until it seemed to curdle the very blood in their veins, and burned an impression upon the tablets of their memory. Waking or sleeping, the frightful picture was ever before them until reality became lost in imagination, and they saw only the wreathing flames of a fabulous hell and heard only the shrieking of the doomed. Reason became dethroned, and the brain was filled with the wild fantasy of a terrible dream. Those who teach the doctrine of an eternal hell would do well to look more closely after their authority for so cruel a belief.—Testimonies for the Church 1:25, 26 (1855).{2MCP 454.1}

I tell you, anybody who believes that the teaching of hell, eternal fire even forever and ever, causes honest men and women (not forgetting the little children) to seek solace in an alternate reality best described as insanity, is in need of psychiatric help.

Just like Beeny Hinn, Creflo Dollar and Harold Camping. There's always someone to help when we need a new horse for de ol' buggy! Got to get a new dress for a new vision too, ya know.

My friend Stuff aka Circle,

Ellen White only borrowed from her future book earnings which
at her death the debt she owed the church covered, and soon afterwards these earnings was enough to paid off this paid debt with interest.

What the websites or books you're relying on from our professional (sic) critics fail to mention is the fact that Ellen "will" to the church 85% of her future earnings to the church at her death.

You might just ask then why didn't she just will 100% which she would've done but she understood the counsel of the scriptures that tells us " A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children" Prov. 13:22

If should also be pointed out that shortly after Ellen's death, Edson and William White, for a relatively modest consideration, relinquish ALL claims to this potential income.

In short, Ellen White NEVER sinned. Even the wrong she did is photoshopped into a sparkling new image of light, polished and set upon a pedestal that all be come and pay homage.

Stuff you're being silly.

We "ALL" have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Rom 3:23

Friend understand this:

The only difference between "them" who are saved and "those" that are lose, is not that the ones that are saved haven't sinned but they have been forgiven.

Bible writers have specific writing styles. So did EGW. She was a legalist who believed sinners would be judged in the IJ according to their works-contribution to their salvation. Shadow-writer Bolton believed it was finished at the CROSS! On p. 60 of Steps , she tells us that Christ's perfect character stands IN PLACE of our imperfect characters. So, why an "investigation"? Viva Fanny! No wonder EGW did'nt really like her that much!
Where is your proof of all this? I dont see any.

Repeating the same lie, doesn't make it more true. It just adds to your account for which you will have to pay in hell.

138. "According to SDA, Ellen White was more holy than Jesus Christ. She NEVER, I repeat, NEVER sinned." {"theCircle," http://www.topix.com/forum/religion/seventh-d... Post #564; Sept. 11, 2011; ).
