CB, I love you dearly, but how did a "soul sleep" post get into a thread on medical marijuana??? Perhaps MJ users experience a type of "soul sleep" when they are "under the influence" (just kidding!). Never tried it myself, so wouldn't know!
Guilty as charged Grammy. I personally dislike it when someone derails a perfectly good thread and here I have gone and done the thing I hate.

Please forgive me. I'll try to never do that again.

Innocently while looking back over the thread details I see where I was trying to comfort you over your brother. I think HisFriend4Ever and myself strayed while discussing something I had said to you.

Either way (smacking hand) Bad form, Back to business and the Marijuana debate or as they say in Texas "Onward through the fog Oat Willie".

>I'm angry that a group of people can cast judgement based on a "FALSE" prophet by and in the name of,'Ellen White!'

The work of judging his brother has not been placed upon any man.“Judge not,” the Saviour says,“that ye be not judged; for with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.” He who takes upon himself the work of judging and criticizing others, lays himself open to the same degree of judgment and criticism. Those who are ready to condemn their brethren, would do well to examine their own works and character. Such an examination, honestly made, will reveal the fact that they, too, have defects of character, and have made grave blunders in their work. If the great Judge should deal with men as they deal with their fellow workers, they would regard him as unkind and unmerciful.{ChL 59.2}

So, since EGW is plainly against the activity that you mentioned, she isn't the cause of it. The real question is if you know her well enough to use her name then why didn't you know that she didn't approve of what they were doing?

MS according to the alternative ND health pros could be due to some artificial sweeteners in diet drinks such as aspartame/nutra sweet. Others say it could be vaccine related. I'm not sure, you may check around. The pot is not a pain med, doesn't help any symptoms. Wont cure MS or cancer.

I'm all for legal hemp tho. It's legal in Canada and UK where they make cloths and food and even fuel could be made from hemp. Paper. Hemp could almost put the logging industry out of business. Save the trees.)

But the pot like alcohol is unclean like other drugs for SDA who care about such things which most in this thread are not. Clouds the spiritual temple. The devil will have his way while the user is dazed. One thing leads to another. Cant really read the Bible under the Holy Spirit while stoned out of yur mind.

There is no such thing as marijuana ministry or christian rock or christian prostitution, ect.

I began taking drugs and drinking alcohol at the age of 16. I used to smoke a lot of pot.

As a result, I suffer permanent brain damage and psychological illness and it has made living my life very lonely and difficult because it's made me suffer from severe paranoia and other mental issues that keeps me isolated and all alone, because most people find it difficult dealing with me and the effects the drugs have caused upon me, so I live in isolation and all alone.

I wish I had have made better choices when I was young, but I was foolish and naive and ignorant.

I hope younger people will not make the same mistakes and poor choices I did, because it will ruin their lives, as it has mine :(

God bless.

I use medical marijuana, I believe that God put it here and I believe if God is OK with me taking Methadone OxyContin OxyCodone and OPANA then I believe is He OK with me taking part in an herb that is all natural and makes me feel better. Just because not all Adventist have come around doesn't mean that it is wrong. And according to the requirements of a prophet Ellen White qualifies. Just to let you know.

Some people with stronger constitutions may survive longer doing what you did. Others are too proud to admit that they screwed up.

God bless.

Here is my opinion...SDA

I smoke marijuana on occasions. And for anyone to smoke and hope for spiritual lifting are in a bad zone if they are not spiritually grounded. Everytime I smoked hoping it to be with better connection. I found myself doing things I didn't wish. As I became strong in the Lord I sat on top the mountain to smoke and had soothing hymns. It was a blessing of beauty and love. I have marijuana now. But when I finish with this, I will be finished with marijuana. It's to much of a life barrier blocking me from the things needed done. But not to far fetched, what if there was marijuana in the mountains to eat??? In the time of trouble.
