EB is wrong as he is on other beliefs.

John 20:22 is a partial fulfillment of Acts 2:4

What Jesus is saying, that what He did at Calvary will now make it possible for all believers to receive the Holy Spirit.

v17-21 prove this happened the same day after the Ressurection

John 16:4-17 why a partial fulfillment, becaus the disciples did not understand Jesus and what He was saying.

Re: JOHN 20: 22
1. DID JESUS BREATH the HOLY SPIRIT on the APOSTLES before he ASCENDED to HEAVEN yes or no?? I did not ask for a sermon! I simply asked you did JESUS breath the HOLY Spirit on the Apostles BEFORE or AFTER his ASCENCION into HEAVEN?

2. Was the actions by Peter & the Apostles in ACTS 1: 23-26 on the selection of MATTHIAS by INSPIRATION of GOD & the HOLY Spirit or by SATAN?

3. Do you accept Matthias as an Apostle? yes or no

Simply answer YES or no or not sure, then you can clarify your beliefs after you answered with a YES or a NO to all 3 questions.

Thanx

Birdie.

Give proof from the Bible why you accuse Mr Earburner of being wrong?

Did Jesus breathe a PERSON on or into the apostles? No, He simply infused His Father and His own OMNIPRESENCE into the apostles.

"It depends on what you believe is the "holy spirit."

In Acts 1:8, Jesus is quoted as saying to the disciples, "you shall receive POWER WHEN the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me."

In other words, Pentecost was not about the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, but about the empowering of the Church at its beginning for the purpose of witnessing. Such empowerment was wrought by the outpouring of the Holy Spirit JUST AS JESUS CHRIST RECEIVED THE HOLY SPIRIT AT HIS BAPTIZISM. That empowerment, the visible sign of Divine anointment, was the public display of Divine favour to show the world whom God had chosen: Jesus Christ and His Church. Such a thing will never be repeated. It stands as evidence forever of the will of God.

It does not mean that those who were not present on the day of Pentecost would not, do not or did not have the Holy Spirit if they will, do or had believed in the name of Jesus Christ. God is not in the business of Hollywood.

I hope you understand now Danno. You follow those two demons D. and RR to your own hurt."
