If you are a true Seventh-day Adventist

You will not fellowship or have anything to do with an unbeliever.

This is written in the Bible.

You will not even be debating OR arguing with them on here.

AM I RIGHT?

Yes, a true SDA is one who believes in the Bible and the testimonies and who in whom Christ lives and works through each day to sanctify, this is an ongoing process. According to your understanding I would be an unbeliever, even when Jesus talked with and taught the woman at the well and many others, I am not qualified to speak so I really didnt say that.

It is the gospel commission to share, to associate, to become friends with all. There is no benefit, or blessing in becoming an isolationist.

Christ, who is our model, displayed a great love for associating with those considered to be outcasts. Those who were not considered to be "part of the chosen". This is our commission also. To meet the needs of those around, and share the wonderful "good news" of a living Savior.

I'll have to agree with David. Try being Christians instead of Adventists. SDA is a Christian denomination, not something that has replaced Christianity or has an exclusive license to it.

By whose definition of SDA? Apparently there are any number of definitions with a variety of requirements for someone to name themselves SDA. By my own definition I am certainly an SDA, even though I do not believe that the Bible is the wholly inspired, inerrant word of God, and I do not believe that EGW is a true prophet of God. Yet for some, if not most on this forum this would disqualify me as a member in good standing.

I DO believe that the words and teachings of Jesus Christ take precedence over the words of anyone else, including Paul and EGW. I DO believe that keeping the Commandments of God as defined in the Law and the Prophets as the 10 Commandment is a requirement for membership in the Kingdom of Heaven. I DO believe in the process of Sanctification, which up until recently was taught in the SDA church as the means of attaining righteousness. I DO believe that Jesus died for the sin of disobedience of the Kingdom of Heaven. And I Do believe that the Kingdom of Heaven, as defined in the prophecies of Jesus Christ, and in Daniel and Revelation, is the SDA church.

Our church at its founding did not have a prophet, and did not need one. We had the Bible and the will and desire to study to find out WHEN Jesus was going to return, and WHAT we had to do to be ready for that event. I am doing EXACTLY what Jesus required of our founders by returning to our first love, and that is studying to FIND the truth (Rev. 3:1-Sardis). When did telling people WHAT to believe by demanding that they believe just what the church tells them become the operational model for our church? I can tell you exactly when that occurred; when the church said that they needed a prophet, and then CHOSE EGW as that prophet. Now that they had an infallible source for truth there was no longer either the need or the desire to search out truth for themselves. And anyone that did try to find the truth and disagreed in the least measure with what EGW said were kicked out on their ear. EGW has been a DISASTER for our church. THAT is where we are today, and that is why God said what He did to Sardis. Be warned; God will not put up with this attitude in our church much longer.

A true Adventist is one who is found to keep all of the ten commandments and abide in the words of Jesus as found in Rev. 12:17. Period! The Kingdom of Heaven right now is represented by the Seventh day Adventists as proven from Matthew 25:1-13 and Rev. 2 and 3.

You will know Jesus followers for, "These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb."

By the way, the term 'with women' disallows both women and married men from being in the 144,000, so this translation is and must be inaccurate. Further, the original translators were all Roman Catholic, and the RCC has subscribed to a priesthood that are unmarried, so they would of needs translate this verse in favor of their 'unique' point of view.

Since the Greek language does not always use articles (and, the, they, them, of) to identify a following noun this verse could easily and more appropriately be translated 'a' woman; "These are they which were not defiled by a woman;". This seems more accurate given the testimony of Jesus in Rev. 2:19-23, and the Jezebel that leads the bondservants of Jesus astray.

The Church is made up of people who have a loving relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Cor. 13:1-13 Love is the factor, without Love one has nothing.

Ha ha ha, Think spiritually cbg. Just like eating fool sacrificed to idols is learning lies, so is being defiled with women means following the words of others other than the BrideGroom's words. It's just that simpel IF you have true insight.

Look, Jesus spoke in parables so that people who refused to understand could NOT understand. Thru out His ministry Jesus did this and it frustrated the wicked so much that they wanted to kill Him.

Revelation is no different. There are many symbols that only those with insight and seeking the real truth will ever be able to understand even though everyone can read it. Proof? Try Dan. 12:10.

Yes, Jesus said IF you love God, then you MUST obey the words of God given to us by Jesus thru the eyewitnesses Matthew and John. But if you become defiled by 'women' along the way, meaning that your love is for Paul's words instead of Jesus, then you show God that you do NOT love Him and therefore He can't be your God even if you keep saying you love Him. It's not what you say, but what you show God that counts.

I have a better Idea.

Tell me what a child of God would have in common with a child of the devil so as to have fellowship with them.

Post it right here.
