As I promised months ago.....

The Prophecy of the Earthly Millennial Kingdom;

Any consideration of the Millennial Kingdom must be distinguished between God's universal kingdom and Christ's mediatorial kingdom, the discussion topic.

God's universal kingdom, which is everlasting Ps 10;16 74;12 Jer 10;10 embraces all the things that are determined by His decree Ps 103;19 1 Chron 29:11,12 Eph 1:11 While being a part of the universal kingdom, Christ's mediatorial kingdom in His rule as the Father's servant over the earth to bring God's enemies into subjection to His authority and to accomplish other divine objectives.......

This rule was briefly realized in Adam before his fall Gen 1;26 and was later foreshowed in the regional reigns of Saul, David and Solomon 1 Sam 9:16 16;1 2 Sam 7;8 12,13 1 Kings 1:13 46-48 1 Chron 22;9,10

But God's revealed objectives for these reigns were not achieved because of the disobedience of these men and their subjects. Therefore, God spoke through His prophets about a time in the future when His kingdom would be established and governed by a PERFECT RULER and His laws would be written on the hearts of His subjects Ps 2;6 cp72 Isa 11:1-9 Jer 31:33

God the Son came to earth , assumed a human nature and was anointed (as a man) to be the Father"s Servant for the purpose of achieving divine objectives for the mediatorial kingdom Isa 42:1-7 49:1-9 52:12 61:1,2 Jn 6;38 8:28,29 Phil 2:7,8 During His first advent the Lord Jesus Christ presented Himself to Israel for their acceptance or rejection, and by His death and resurrection He laid the foundation of His future Messanic work, which includes His mediatorial kingdom.

Presently the Lord's Kingdom in its visible, earthly form is represented by Christendom.....all that represents Christ in this world including all professing Christians and their institutions Mt chapt 13

In its real form the kingdom is spiritual, nongeographical, and nonpolitical, embracing all who are saved, whether living or dead Col 1;13

In the future this kingdom in its real form will be political and earthly, embracing at that time, the world's total population.

Upon His second coming to earth, our Lord's earthly kingdom will continue for a thousand years Rev 20;1-7 When it has ended, His millennial kingdom will merge with the Fathers universal kingdom 1 Cor 15;24 Lk 1:33 and the Father and the Lord Jesus will jointly rule forever. Still, Jesus as a man will continue to be the Fathers Servant and will remain in subjection to Him forever 1 Cor 15;28 This indicates that there will be other divine projects for the Lord Jesus to do in the ages to come Eph 2;7 which have not been revealed. His people will serve with Him in these projects.......

Here are some of the Lord Jesus's objectives of His mediatorial kingdom

--Domination of the earth and its Creatures Heb 2:5-8

The Lord Jesus will accomplish what Adam and his posterity failed to do Gen 1:26,28 Ps chapt 8
He will rule over the earth in a manner that will reflect God's wise, benevolent authority and will glorify
the Father Jn12;28 17:4

--The Salvation of the elect Jn 6:37 14:6 Chapt Isa 45:5-25

the final group of elect humans born during the kingdom days will be saved Isa 49:6 Also, all the redeemed of mankind will experience the blessings of the Lord's rule

--The Subjugation of All Rebels against God 1 Cor 15:25 Phil 3;21

When He establishes His Kingdom, the Lord Jesus will cast Satan and his demon allies into the Abyss Rev 20:1-3 and will judge earth dwellers to determine who are qualified to enter His kingdom Mt 25;31-46 Unsaved subjects born during the millennium will be dealt with at the end of His rule Rev 20:7-9. Finally, being related to the unredeemed body, death and sin will be abolished, with physical change of saved earth dweller to immortality and the resurrection of the unsaved dead 1 Cor 15;25,26
Jas 1:15 Rev 20:12-14

--The Restoration of the Earth to Its primeval State Col 1:20

When the Lord establishes His earthly kingdom, He will lift the divine curse upon creation Gen 3;17-19 Rom 8:19-23 Isa 11:6-9 cleanse the earth of its pollution and restore it to its orginal fertility and beauty Isa Chap 35

--The Fulfillment of he Divine Covenant promises Num 23;19

Almost all of these were made to Israel Rom 9:4 including a land Gen 15:18 17:8 their restoration to the land deut 30:3-5 and their being governed by David's house 2 Sam 7:16 Lk 1:31-33, never to be dispersed again 2 Sam 7:10
Also the true Israel as well as saved Gentiles will enjoy the blessings of the New Covenant Jer 31:31-34 Heb 12;24 8:6

Note: The supreme goal of all the work our Lord does inHis Messianic works, is to glorify the Father Jn 12:28 14;13 17:4 Phil 2:8-11
This should be ours as well..........1 Cor 10:31

The CITIZENS of His Earthly Kingdom

When He sets up His earthly kingdom, the Lord Jesus will allow only saved people to enter, that is to
live in His earthly kingdom, which will embrace all the earth Mt 7:21-23 25:31-46 Jn 3:5 Heb 8:11
These will include risen, glorified saints of other ages as well as saved earth dwellers who survive the Tribulation Period. These saved earth dwellers will enter the kingdom with unredeemed bodies and will repopulate the earth Eze 36:10,11 47:22 Jer 30:18-20 Isa 65:20-25

Because of their having original sin and their sinning, people who are born during kingdom days will need to be born again.

The deceptive and rebellious character of sin is revealed by the fact that many will not recieve Jesus for ther salvation Rev 20:8,9

----------

The Administration of His Earthly Kingdom

The Lord Jesus will be the sovereign ruler of the kingdom Rev 19:15,16 Isa 9:6,7
His authority will be world wide Ps 72:8-11 Mt 11:27 28:-18 with the seat of His government at Jerusalem Isa 24:23 2:3 Zech 14:16,17 Mt 5:35
His administration will include David as king of Israel Eze 34:23,24 37:24,25 Jer 30:9 the Twelve Apostles as rulers of the Gentile nations Rom 15:15,16 and the faithful precross saints, church saints, and saved Tribulation martyrs as holding other administrative positions as rewards Rev 2:26,27 20:4 Mt 25:21 Apparently angels will not have administrative positions over earth dwellers.

The character of the Lords rule will be unigue to human history Isa 11:1-5 Having divine wisdom and knowledge, Jesus will not need counselors and advisers. He will rule with fairness, faithfulness and severity, for He will be endued with the Holy Spirit who empowers Him for all His Messianic works Isa 61:1,2 Rebellion against the King will be dealt with directly and unsparingly Isa 65:20 Mt 5;29,30
With Satan and his demon agents bound, there will be no outward temptation or moral pollution Rev 20:1-3
Yet, having the sin-principle, earth dwellers with unredeemed bodies will sin.
But there will be available to the lost salvation through faith in Jesus and His atoning work and to the saved cleansing from sin........see chapt of the sin-offering of Eze 43:19-27 which does not necessarily indicate a return to Mosaic ritual but possibly a symbolic portrayal of our Lords atoning work and the personal appropriation which is needed for cleansing from sin...

The Blessings

Our sinful world has dreamed of an earthly utopia, but it has never been able to bring it off.
However, the zeal of the Lord will achieve what sinfull man cannot do Isa 9:6,7

Spiritual Blessings

All who enter the Lord's earthly kingdom will be saved people and will enjoy the blessings that accompany salvation Jer 31;31-34 Eze 36:26-28.
The Holy Spirit will be poured out upon everyone Joel 2;28,29 bringing them the blessings of his manifold ministry. Everyone who is saved will "know" the Lord with that knowledge that springs from a personal relationship with Him Jer 31:33,34

Ethical Blessings

With Satan and his demonic allies imprisoned Rev 20:1-3 there will be no external temptation or moral pollution. The Word of the Lord will go forth from Jerusalem (perhaps by prophecy) throughout all the earth Isa 2:3 Joel 2;28 it will be the standard of all moral judgemnets and values. It will be taught to children as well as adults Isa 54;13 Saved people will be motivated and enabled to obey the Lord Eze 36:27 Jer 31:33 Also they will have moral discernment Isa 32:4,5 Mal 3:18

Political Blessing

Although Israel, the wife of the Lord (Yahweh), will be exalted above the nations Ps 47 Isa chap 60 the Gentiles will also be richly blessed Rom 11:11,12 Mic 4:1-7. The King not only will make wise impartial decisions which will contribute to the good of all, but He will be able to carry them through Isa 2:3,4 11:2-5 Jer 23:5,6
Nations will live together in perpetual peace, and they will enjoy unprecedented prosperity as long as they honor the King Zech 14:16-18

Physical Blessings

Everyone will enjoy health and long life, with saved people living throughout the millennium Isa 35:5,6 33:24 65:22
While earth dwellers will experience the natural events of procreation, birth, and development, they will not die unless they are incorrigible sinners, who refuse to submit to the King's authority Isa 11:4 65:20 Jer 31:30
All the unsaved who are still alive at the end of the millennium will die in the final revolt Rev 20:7-9

Apparently, the ordinary hazards of human experience will eliminated Eze 34:23-31 Ps 91:10-12
Isa 11:9 65:23-25

With the Edenic curse lifted, desolate areas will be reclaimed and inhabited Isa 61:4 animals will be at peace with each other and man Isa 11:6-8 Eze 34:29 36:4-11 29-30 Amos 9:13
There will be more rainfall and new water supplies in desserts areas Joel 2;23 Isa 35:6,7 32:15
Natural light will also be increased Isa 30:26 60:19-20
The topography of Palestine and possibly the whole earth will be changed with the Dead Sea being fed by a river flowing from Jerusalem and made to support life Zech 14:10 Eze 47:1,8 8-12 the sea of verse 8 is the Dead Sea, the sea of verse 10 is the Mediterranean

Worshipping

People will worship the Lord everywhere Mal 1:11, but formal worship will be observed in Jerusalem, the city of the King Zech 6:12,13 14:16,17 Jer 33;15-18 Eze chap 40-48 seems to give details of the millennial temple chapts 40-43, worship chapts 44-46 and land chapts 47,48
The worship services will include offerings and feasts similar to those of the Mosaic ritual
Jer 33;18 Eze 43:18-27 45:21 46:4
Like the Lords supper, these offerings and feasts appear to have commemortive and symbolic significance celebrating various aspects of our Lords atoning work and appropriating its benefits to the worshipper. They will not replace the Lord's atoning work, but they will remind the worshipper of this work and of their responsiblity to appropriate it to their needs chap 1 Cor 11:24-26 2 Cor 7:1 1 Jn 1:9
There will be a priesthood, with Christ Jesus as the High Priest Heb 5:5,6 Zech 6:13
People who neglect worship will be visted with divine chastisement Zech 14:16-19

The End of the Millennium

The Lord's Kingdom will close with a revolt led by Satan Rev 20:7-10 As we have observed, people will be born again during these 1000 yrs who will not recieve Jesus as their Savior. At the close of this time, God will release Satan and his demons from the Abyss and will use them to sift out these unbelievers born during the Millennium. Satan will lead them against Jerusalem where they will be killed by fire. Satan himself will be cast into the lake of Fire.

Immediately following this revolt ,God will bring about the dissolution of the present universe 2 Pet 3:10-13 Mt 24:35 Rev 20:11 21:1 That this is a dissolution rather than a purging is indicated by the words "shall pass away" 2 Pet 3:10 and "were passed away" Rev 21;1 "melt" 2 Pet 3;10 "dissolved" 11-12 all meaning "loosed" or "broken up". Thus the present universe will revert to formless energy, with which God will make the New heavens and New earth .

ALL expressions alluding to an EARTHLY reign are speaking POSTMILLENNIALLY.

However, John the Revelator LIFTED many of the Old Testament typological language concerning an earthly rule and REDEFINED and REALLOCATED them to the END of the millennium.

This earth will be a DESOLATE wilderness for 1000 years.

So let it be written, so let it be done.

The motion is carried, the vote has been cast.

The debate is ended.

Wrong.........We have scriptual revelation as presented in all its glory, revealing the Earthly Millennium

You do not.

You must deny or twist the meaning of all those scriptures in the first 5 posts,

as is the common practice of a cult.

Zechariah 14

14 Behold, a day of the Lord is coming when the spoil [taken from you] shall be divided [among the victors] in the midst of you.

2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city shall be taken and the houses rifled and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go into exile, but the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

3 Then shall the Lord go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fought in the day of battle.

4 And His feet shall stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives, which lies before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from the east to the west by a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north and half of it toward the south.

This is a post millennial event, antitypically redefined by John the Revelator in Revelation 20. This Jerusalem mentioned in Zechariah 14 serves as a type pointing to the New Jerusalem.

You refuse to accept the Divine and Biblical principle that many of the Old Testament prophecies will no longer be fulfilled in their local, typological settings. These were written in a language that applied to local Israel assuming they would repent, but this did not happen.

These prophecies have been LIFTED out of their local typological settings and REDEFINED in their Antitypical light in the New Covenant age, where the focus is no longer earthly Canaan, earthly Jerusalem, the earthly sanctuary or literal local Israel, but the Heavenly Canaan, the Heavenly Jerusalem, the Heavenly Sanctuary, and spiritual global Israel realized in His church.

To interpret local Israel-palistinian-centered prophecies without New Testament Antitypical lenses is to violate the sacred principle of types and Antitypes, and also rejects the sacred principle that conditional type prophecies always point forward to unconditional Antitypical fulfillments of those prophecies.

Explain to all, when did or does Christ go forth and fight against the nations at earthly Jerusalem ?

We all what to see the art of your twisting a scripture...
Here ya go, have at it, we will waiting to hear from you.

The Lord Comes and Reigns
14 A day of the Lord is coming, Jerusalem, when your possessions will be plundered and divided up within your very walls.
2 I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city. 3 Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights on a day of battle. 4 On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south. 5 You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake[a] in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.

Zech 14
Only parts of this will be fulfilled as I already explained. It has been redefined by John in Revelation 20, in it's Antitypical light. Ezekiel 37 and 38 talks about horses and armor, swords and shields and also mentions Persia, Ethiopia and Libya as world powers. This can no longer be.

Hence, in the same way Ezekiel 37 and 38 have been redefined by John the Revelator, the same holds true for Zechariah 14. Only certain portions and elements of these chapters will be fulfilled in the Antitypical age. Some have these chapters have met "partial" fulfillments in the in the local city of Jerusalem in 70ad, but will reach its "acme" at the end of the millennium.

Read the articles I gave you above. In fact, the first one deals with Zech. 14 quite extensively.
