I would think cracking down on the expensive stuff used by the people running the planet into the ground should have a priority! Alcohol is alcohol!

Alcohol is a problem made worse buy poor economy.

Still the 4 close calls I had driving last year did not involve drunks but those damn cell phones. One was very close laid my truck sideways with inches to spare.Little Subaru was almost transformed into a speed bump.

Side note:
Science says that while any form of over drinking alcohol is damaging to many parts of the body you will feel that brain damage more with dark colored alcohols like bourbons or brandies over gin or vodka.
In studies aged bourbon was found to be the worst.

Figures aged bourbon whiskey and rum are what I like if not drinking a beer.Drinking in moderation can be healthy.
