No self respecting witch would follow Gavin and Evon Frost......they once were christians who could not make a go of it...so now they are here to pervert our spirituality for their gain.....not ours......

I have been a witch since birth same as my mother, grandmother and great grandmother and so on back throuh the generations.....I have no respect for some one like the frosts who would package it and make the highest dollar for it....

Indeed, Though i'm still pagan and haven't decided which route to travel, i agree completely. Religion is there for spiritual guidance, not money making, but i must say that it's a step in the right direction, even if the motives may not be the best in the world. Many christians are tired of the negative outlook of the catholic church and may see this as an opportunity to choose a differnet path.

I do agree that this is most likely a publicity stunt, but i do like the possibilities for a more accepting community that this opens up

How tacky! I agree! The resources that will be accumulated maybe worth it though?! I mean one person commented in the article that finding a balance in between the different practices was one of herr challenges! So if people contribute as well as seek it could be worth having a physical location to learn from!?!

You pervert your own beliefs by admitting them. As i have stated; Old Wiccan law tells all followers not to reveal that they are Wiccan, in fact you are suppose to shun the idea of witchcraft in the presence of others. Have any of you never read the founding book of the Wiccan religion? It blaintly says that you are not to do exactly what you people are doing. YOU ARE PERVERTING NOTHING MORE THAN YOUR OWN BELIEFS!!!!

First off, you over righteous pile of parts! There is no person here that is breaking the rules of the Rede. I'm NOT Wiccan! There are three known Tianice in this forum and I'm one of them. And yet, like the wiccans you don't know who I am Other than the words you read right here. Those Wiccans that do speak here talk to each other and others with anonymity. Can you say Anonymous?

Second, your self centered judgmental idiocy proves beyond doubt that your not Wiccan or any Elden faith.
Third, keep your stupid remarks to yourself, knowitall.

He's referring to the set of Laws that accompanies the Gadnerian (and Alexandrian) Traditions- which are as a Gardnerian Elder put it aptly:

Are properly ignored by all Gardnerians and Alexandrians alike

On a funny, but pragmatic note, when we study them amongst ourselves, we note that if the current adminstration remains in power- we might actually have to re-erect some of the old Laws... funny- in a grim way!

Basically, if one reads through them carefully, little is mandated, but a lot of common sense and thinking through things is instilled. Taking caution in things Craft-related is the theme.

However, these laws are guidelines, not commandments. I rather think that if Gardner were floating around in the Ether like some kind of Jesus, rather then smoting people for not following his Laws, he would be bonking some sense into people for being dogmatic control freaks about them instead.

The frosts have been around a long time. And for a long time Traditional's have gotten sick at their practices. For ages the Frosts have used the National Enquirer and other supermarket tabloids to recruit new members.( Elvis returns from Mars!!) So who do you think they recruited?? They are so kinky a joke that most wont get it.

Well, well, look who it is the Texas Twinkie. Sick little weirdo found his way to Greensboro. Have you not heard of "freedom of religion"? Then Google it. It happens to be what the first amendment is about.

Is it your wish to rid this country of it's first amendment? If so, max time.

WTF, Allen, are you "stalking" my sweetie? I think so since waco was on here first. So..one might think you are out "trolling" for him. That, of course, would make everything he has said true on the other forum.

If the so called religious right were to be honest.. Your right they would love to eliminate the 1rst Amendment, but not the 2nd Amendment.

They hide behind their so called cross in favor of the second, only to abolish the first.
