Gospel of Barnabas, Part-107A (Conclusion - Contd.)

Prologue:

1. When Jesus was finally taken up into heaven, his disciples continued his mission on the lines of jesus’ teachings and amongst the Jews.

2. They were persecuted by Jews and Romans both, and they had to struggle on two fronts.

3. During that time, One Particularly learned Jew, Paul, who was avowed enemy of Christians, got converted into Christianity.

3A. No one could believe such a wonder and Jesus’ disciples were still afraid of him, but Barnabas convinced them about genuinely of his faith and conversion.

4. Paul was having his own hidden plan for this conversion, instead of going to the disciples and to learn from them the message and teaching of Jesus, he claimed that he has direct access to jesus and jesus sends him direct revelation and has appointed him an Apostle to Non Jews.

5. Paul took care to preach his message to areas which had very little jewish population, he saw to it that he only preached amongst non Jews. These pagans were not adept in the Jewish terms and with the jewish scriptures, so they accepted Paul’s arguments and Paul’s teachings and Paul’s claims of Apostle ship as authentic.

6. In this way, Non Jews followers of Paul kept on increasing in numbers. Initially Barnabas and other Chosen Disciple of Jesus did not take strong notice of Paul’s preachings to Non Jews and felt ease as to what he was doing for the cause of Christianity.

7. But soon started the tussle between Jewish Christians and non Jewish Christians.
The former asking later to abide by the laws of Torah and do circumcision as mentioned in the law, while the latter (supported by Paul) held that observation of Law is not needed for Non Jewish Christians.

8. To solve this problem the famous Council of Jerusalem was held (as described by Luke in book of Acts Ch. 15). In this conference Paul presented the case of Non Jewish Christians and James, brother of Jesus, was the spokesperson for Jewish Christians. After discussions the consensus was reached that Non Jewish Christians are not to be forced to follow the Jewish law.

9. As per jewish Christians, this was only a temporary respite for Newly converted Non Jews. With time they and their Children would be asked to follow Jewish law as they were following.

10. But Paul and his party took these concessions as permanent and Paul then started preaching his teachings against Torah in full swing. He declared the law as being abolished for ever and Christians has only to have faith in Jesus and no deeds are needed from them for salvation except believe in Jesus.

11. Paul started raising the personality of Jesus and brought him to the level of Divinity, it was there that he came in direct conflict with the Chosen Disciples of jesus and they broke with him. We see that Luke (a disciple of Paul) omits all Jesus’ Disciples after Chapter-15.

12. Barnabas and other Chosen Disciples of Jesus broke company with Paul and started their own mission.

13. That is why, we see in the Gospel of Barnabas such phrase as “many false prophets have risen and they preach against the Law, Circumcision and allow all unclean food” and amongst them Paul is also present.

14. That is the main reason for Barnabas to write his Gospel. Since Church is controlled by Followers of Paul, since 325 CE, that is why they are so much against this Gospel and they have tried their best to get it extinct.

15. But it is wisdom and mercy of God that this Gospel be not lost and its message be delivered to those who want to take heed.

16. If people continue to ignore its message and be “happy and content” with Paul’s logic and Paul’s version of jesus and his mission, it is their choice.

17. Truth has been presented to them in the clearest form, and that is what we are supposed to do (MUQ)

Bible is Proof that God Spoke to Abraham and Moses.
And Bible SAYS that God spoke to Abraham and Moses?
Still you do not seem to understand difference between proof and claim.
Proof has to be separate from claim. Testimonies from other sources or falsifying test.
So far you have produced none!!
I know how dis- comfortable you feel!!
May be this is the FIRST time some one asked YOU to bring the proof!!
We have the living proof through Jesus Christ God in human form on earth who spoke and taught all about Himself being God.
We have eye witness testimony confirming Jesus is God in the human flesh.

Stefano keeps asserting that YHVH, Allah, El and other beings do not exist. How does he know that they don't exist? Has he incisively and comprehensively investigated the matter in a subjective as well as objective manner and then arrived at the conclusion? Or is it one of those off-hand comments of a typical sub-intellectual crass materialist with a superficial and narrow world-view who can't see anything beyond matter and who insist that mind, life, emotions and consciousness are aspects of matter? LOL.

Anyway.

you sound like a Mormon

Your notion of "non corruptible" does not mean "true"

A liar can write a thousand words, and they be preserved, lies and all, in writing for 1500 years.

It's not "truth" just because it was left intact.

And remind me again, what in the Bible teaches me that God is not God? What in the Bible teaches me that there is more than one god?

I can't seem to FIND that.

Our Question is not about Jesus, but "God spoke to Abraham and Moses".

Why you do not be honest first time in you life and "Admit" you have no proof, but only your belief.

To tell truth is much easier and simpler that doing all these twists and turns.

Be Honest and say you have no proof, so we can move on.

01 - what in any manuscript have we found that teaches that god is not god, or that there is more than one god?

02 the logic by firstly the abundance of consistency among what remains... the logic by historical proof in archaeology... historical proof that you Muslims would not exist were it not for us Christians and Jews.

03 - see 02

04 - Gospel of Luke, Gospel of John

There is no forgery in the Bible. The forgeries come about from "restorationists" that make up lies about God telling them to correct it.

At the very least, the corrections should match things.

For instance, in the Quran it is said 7 heavens. This was a catholic invention that came about long after the Bible was written, based on Talmud ideas of the planets passing in the sky at night.

009 3/35:”Imran’s wife said”. The Quran here is talking about the mother of Mary (see also 3/36 in the Quran:“I have named her Mary”).

But Mary's father was Joachim...
MARIAM... Moses sister... THEIR father was Amran.

And in Arabic "Mary" is also called "Mariam"

01. The Manuscripts themselves are the proofs!! If we find discrepancies and errors and mistakes in manuscripts, whom we are going to accuse for these shortcomings?
I did not see any "eyewitness" testimony being mentioned is any OT or NT books , did you?
02. So according to you if some manuscript says "there are More than On God, then it is a forgery, otherwise every other things go"? What type of logic is it?
And your saying that these manuscripts are "Almost Perfectly identical" is a masterpiece of deception!!
I say there are "Not two ancient manuscripts who are exact copy of each other"!!
03. Again you are making a wrong claim, that if any book teaches more than one God, only then it is a forgery.
Do you know what is the definition of forgery?
04. In which Gospel there is a statement that this is "eye witness account"? You are making claims which the writers did not make themselves.
How come Luke and Mark are eyewitness of what jesus did or said?
You have a very wrong concept of forgery and what is called forgery.
Let me quote to you a Quranic verse on what is a forgery:
'Then Woe to be those who write books from their own hands and say "this is from God"…."
This is a forgery and corrupting the text, removing or adding some words or phrases in original manuscript is also a forgery.
To recite a verse and willfully play with "words during recitation" to convey different meaning is also a forgery.

A claim that is thoroughly contradicted by the fact that the portions does not always add up. There f. ex. are cases where the inheritors according to the mentioned rules in the Quran, all together are to inherit 112,5% and even 125% of the total inheritance - and other cases where the sum is less than 100%

Jesus identified Himself as "I AM WHO AM" the God that spoke to Moses.

13 Moses said to God, "Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them,‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me,‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?"

14 God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites:‘I AM has sent me to you.’"

15 God also said to Moses, "Say to the Israelites,‘The LORD, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation.

ONLY GOD CAN DETERMINE HOW SINS ARE FORGIVEN

The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin

"If we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin" (1 John 1:7).

"All have sinned" (Romans 3:23). Sin results in spiritual uncleanness. Water and many other solvents are used to wash away physical dirt, but only the blood of Christ can cleanse us from sin.

Many people do not understand how blood can take away sins. Sin is rebellion against God.
Thus Only God can determine how sins are forgiven.

God has given blood as the means of atonement by which sins are forgiven. In Leviticus 17:11 He explains: "The life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul." Atonement is satisfaction for an offense, resulting in the restoration of a broken relationship. "According to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission" (Hebrews 9:22).

Under the Old Covenant there was atonement through the blood of sacrificial animals. This prefigured the blood of Christ, who would bring the ultimate sacrifice for sin. "For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins" (Hebrews 10:4).

"Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?" (Hebrews 9:12-14). Christ was qualified to pay the penalty for our sin because He was without sin. Since He was not under the same condemnation, He could voluntarily take our place, "who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness" (1 Peter 2:24).

The blood of Christ is the blood of the New Covenant. Jesus told His hearers: "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me' " (John 6:53-57).

The meaning of this mystery was revealed when Jesus instituted the Lord's supper: "And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said,'Take, eat; this is My body.' Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying,'Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins' " (Matthew 26:26-28). Paul explained: "The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?" (1 Corinthians 10:16).

Now we can better understand John's statement: "If we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin" (1 John 1:7).

We begin our walk in the light of the gospel when we are baptized into the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:13). Paul was told: "Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord" (Acts 22:16).

03. Epics like Ramayan and Mahabharat are part of Indian folklore just like Greek epics Odyssey and Iliad were part of the pre-Christian Greek civilization.

04. Apart from that, in India it is only the Hindus who have got the emotional connect with the folklore of ancient India. of spiritual and moral failing.

05. It’s only Koran which places emphasis on waging religious wars and hence only Islamic religious warriors can rightly be depicted as holding the mirror for Islam. The character of Saad is a glaring example of the deficiency of Islam.

06. Victory of good over evil is a theme that is not solely confined to the realm of religion

07. Keeping with your wish I will skirt the Hindu Muslim issue in India. But before I finish I will make a few general remarks. Even if RSS is a bunch of troublemakers, at worst their troublemaking skills remains confined to fishing in troubled waters.
Ans.

01. There is nothing bad about discussing shortcomings of every one's religions when we discuss on religions with people.

There is no "guilt" involved in that. Provided we use proper language and do it in a civil manner.

How can you invite people to your religion without "proving" that your religion is "best of the best"?

02. It is not our "problem" but our strength that we keep our thoughts focused and keeps every thing in their proper places.

03 & 04.. Culture, folklore and customs all have their places in Islam. But our first and foremost duty is towards our Creator and His Messenger.

The problem with other "religions" is that they are "too much involved" in their local customs and folklore. For them their "Epics" score above their Scriptures, In Islam it is not like that.

And another things when you keep your local customs, folklore and epics above every thing is that, you loose on universality of your religion.

05. Why you say it is "Only Quran" which asks Muslims to wage wars on wrong doers and corruption on the land? What is Lord Krishna's message to Arjun in Gita?

You are again picking on Saad, without having any info or knowledge about the incident.

06. Victory of Good over evil is applicable in all fields of life, and religion is also applicable in all parts of our lives.

07. Coming to "troubled waters". I do not know how far we have to go back in the history to find out "who churned the waters first"?

Aryan invasion to India and their capture of Original inhabitants, Rise and Fall of Buddhism in India and internal wars between hundreds of kingdoms do not mean that "water was very still" when Muslims arrived in India.

We should discuss only the recent past and to my info it were the British who "churned the Water" after 1857 war to create bad blood between Hindus and Muslims.

And it were more Hindus who took the bait and some Muslims also took the bait.

And this is what caused partition of India and RSS is still taking that bait and results might be similar.

That is how far I will give to comment on Hindu Muslim debate.

PS:

You claim to be objective and broad minded.

But deep down for you, your local customs, habits and folklore are your real religion and you give them more importance than basic issues as to what is religion and which is the best religion in the world.

First you tried to use Bible itself as a proof.

Then you tried your hand with science and archeology and what nots.

Then you tried to involve Quran and our prophet

and now you are trying to use jesus as a proof.

But irrespective of whatever you try, you have not touched the real question:

01. So if any manuscripts says that "there is one God" then it is not corrupted. So Gospel of Barnabas is also not a forgery because it also "speaks about one God only"?

02. Do not speak in hyperbole, talk in basic language. First of all "there are not so many Manuscripts from 3rd or 4th century CE" only single copies exist and they do not match exactly with each other.

Then numbers increase as we move into next centuries, but again no two manuscripts exist.

And we do not need "very big changes to totally change the message, some times a single word or comma or punctuation mark changes the total meaning of passage.

For example the famous opening verse of Gospel of John : "In the beginning there was Word and the Word was with God and verse was God".

Is also rendered as "In the beginning was the Word and Word was with God and the word was God's"

Periclytos and Paracletus (Comforter as mentioned in John) can change the total meaning of the word.

04. Where did Luke or John said 'We are writing from inspiration or tell the source of their knowledge"

It is claim which you people make on THEIR Behalf.

It is only your ASSUMPTION that Quran's 7 skies is "stolen from Bible", how can one say anything about what you assume and what you do not.

05. You even do not know that Mary's real name was indeed Miriam!! The same as sister of Aaron.

They name her Mary in Gospel to look like it is a Roman name!!

Her name was Miriam (in Arabic Maryam) and Quran did not get her name wrong.!!

Oh, boy! That is a load of Horse Shit. Tell me who were the idiots, who lied not only through their teeth but also through their arses and said that it was Jesus, who spoke to Moses.

Such silly, stupid and absurd claims show how much fraud has entered Christianity.

Now, revise all the text and write in the following manner:

13 Moses said to Jesus, "Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them,‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me,‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?"

14 Jesus said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites:‘I AM has sent me to you.’"

15 Jesus also said to Moses, "Say to the Israelites,‘The LORD, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation.

16 But Jesus, always good at hiding, hid his real name and never told Moses that his name was Jesus."

I added 16 to make the lie greater.

After Moses reached the Israelites in Egypt, they asked, "Who are you and who has sent you?"

Moses replied, "My name is Moses and I am has sent me to you."

The Israelites, upon hearing that rolled on the floor and laughed their asses out.

They said, "Moses, you don't even know how to talk proper Hebrew."

Moses said, "But he told me he was I am that I am."

The Israelites, upon hearing that rolled on the floor and laughed their asses out more.

They said, "Didn't he give you a name? What is that nonsense 'I am that I am'? How did he look like?"

Moses said, "Yes, he told me his name was Jesus and looked like a Roman kid to me."

The Israelites, upon hearing that kept rolling on the floor and kept laughing their asses out. It became a loud chorus.

If one wants to learn how to lie about God and prophets, one needs to go to the nearest Church or meet a presbyter aka Evangelist.
