“Allah is a very beautiful word for God. Shouldn't we all say that from now on we will name God Allah? [...] What does God care what we call him?”

How about G-d caused the same message to go out to Moses and Mohammad? Just like G-d told the story of the flood to many cultures.
No evidence that the story is from God and I doubt if Moses even existed. This business of flood is another fable. Religion is all about myth making and miracle mongering.

Frijoles---Both Eric and I already gave you our thoughts

HughBe--- I am calling you a BLATANT LIAR. Cite your words with respect to LITERACY etc.

I want YOU to quote your answers that specifically address ALL of my questions and points below.

__________

Frijoles----To study Torah it is assumed that you are doing it in the jewish sense, so that WOULD involve some degree of Hebrew LITERACY.

HughBe--- What is LITERACY? In what sense is the STUDY of Torah done by Jews who do not know Hebrew? Could it be as you have said these Jews do it "on a very superficial level"?

I am now moving away from YOUR path of self-deception and back to your original point.

YOU said, "MOST Jews who study torah approach the material with an appreciation and acknowledgement of its depth""

So once again, what percentage of the MEMBERS of the different sects OF Judaism e.g. Reform etc. know, READ and speak modern Hebrew?

Stupid questions and opinions are the DOMAIN of your PHARAOHS or rabbis.

HughBe---As a member of Judaism tell me the meaning of " Panim el Panim."

Frijoles---already posted a link, Christian no less

HughBe--- I asked you for the meaning and not a LINK. What is the challenge that you are having in giving me the meaning? You read it, so tell me the meaning, Judahite.

Moreover, YOU have been instructed to use sources from Judaism. Do as you have been told and STOP fooling your idiotic self. I know the meaning of it, Judahite and I suspect that, although you regard yourself as being plain STUPID, even YOU know the meaning.

YOUR problem is that you are committed to LYING and DECEPTION and that is why you shall not say that Panim el Panim means Face to Face.

Speaking TRUTH is not an emphasis in Judaism but DECEPTION is and you are a good ambassador of that art plus LYING. In my mind if you are not a rabbi you certainly have ALL the qualities for it i.e. a LYING Tongue, a DECEIVER, STUPIDITY etc.

Frijoles---grow up

HughBe--- If you were half as grown-up as I am you would be emotionally a MAN and NOT a BOY as you are now.

Would we discuss the canons of Catholicism with non educated Catholics?
get real
Tell me Frijoles are YOU an IDIOT or a JACKASS?

Read with care, you dimwitted deceiver.

HughBe--- The context, RELIGION and in particular Judaism. So, why in the name of Jesus, the Christ, are you introducing Jews who don't follow Judaism?(non-observant Jews)

It makes no sense, to me, given the context.

Recall YOUR words and CONTEXT, ""MOST Jews who study torah approach the material with an APPRECIATION and ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of its DEPTH"

Would Jews who are not religious(non-observant) be engage in the Study of Torah?

I say NO unless it is some class at a University or school. I know that you say otherwise and that explains your FOOLISH utterance above.
Again, I maintain that to the non-Hebrew speaking Jews the word PANIM is meaningless.

Maybe because different people, each of them in different periods had face a big flood, and this event was passed down through generations creating distortions to what really happened?

Or the same story happened in one place, and then was widespread in different parts of world?

In any case it is scientifically proven that a flood of the dimnesnion that the Torah wants us to believe has never taken place.

Deal with reality.

Still have no idea why you are bothering with that qualification. The question was how to interpret the Bible using the native text. And with that background, panim becomes relevant.

Actually, there was a flood like that numerous times when the glaciers melted.

Whether or not H. sapiens was around for that, or if their predecessor's memory continues, is a matter for Archaeology.

rabbee: well then do not worry about the deluvian that has forever happened before. and concentrate, on it happening again, about a thousand years from now. and think of ways of convincing G-D, to change how THEY Tell this story. to this whole world of disbelief, of being all physically at least here in IT again.

cause as long as we keep on making, all the same old idolatrous mistakes. then G-D is going to keep on giving us, the same old story as it is written to this whole rebellious world. and as for as many times, as i have been returned here in TheSame Old Story again. G-D has not had to of, changed any of it yet. all the same mistakes, always result in the same story over and over, again and again.

do you really think, this is the first time? G-D has given this whole story, to a bunch of duds and their grandmother. who never ever have believed, they are all here in it from G-D.

when G-D has already given it to Moshe, that THEY have already given it between three to four million times before this time. in the world always choosing to make, all the same mental mistakes.
