Who Is Allah?

“Allah is a very beautiful word for God. Shouldn't we all say that from now on we will name God Allah? [...] What does God care what we call him?”

angels were made of light (Sahih Muslim)
jinns were made of fire (15:27)
Iblis was made of fire (7:12)
"Iblis he is of the jinns" (18:50)

a matter of simple deduction: Iblis and angels are different

the idea of fallen angels came from Jewish sources,

"Satan, yetzer ha-ra and the angel of death are one and the same" (Baba Bathra 16a)

also read the two fallen angels Uzza and Uziel
the sons of God who mated with female humans (their children were nephilim giants)

Greek NT mss have
no full-stops, no commas, not even spaces between word, just a continuous string of letters, and all in capitals!

concerning "the only begotten Son of God",

"Whosoever believes in him shall not perish" (John 3:16) ergo, whoever does not believe in him shall perish
"He who believes not is already judged" (3:18) i.e. judged to perish

"He who believes and is baptized shall be saved; He who believes not shall be damned" (Mark 16:16)

baptize, or be damned to perish in gehenna

Combining here.
We see the theology of John first mentioning jesus in combination with hell.(The other gospels just tell a simple story as in not occupied as to how god or religion should be percieved. Therefore John stands out and are people given the advise to read John if they want to understand what christianity is about.)
But 'Uz' in the older texts used to be one of the names for Edom.
We've discussed long ago how living in islamic and christian lands changed the writing and ideas on interpreting the old hebrew texts.
It's important to keep that in mind.

Repeat: shaitan means nothing else but evil gossip.
Nashustan was the snakestaff, or snake that had divine powers.
In christianity we see it all getting mixed up.
Indeed the priestclass did want any objects of veneration destroyed.
So easy to understand how vilification got a place in the mind of man.

It's curious to know that the news of angels were made of light was taken from Hadithes who are KNOWN to be tale, and not from Quran.

Since the author of Hadith is not the author of Quran there is no need to take it the Hadith in consoderation.

If the Quran tells what the angeles were made of then show it off, otherwise your post is irrelevant.

Quran 7:11

And We have certainly created you,[O Mankind], and given you [human] form. Then We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He was not of those who prostrated.

It implies Iblis was an angel, being the order given to angels.

Quran 18:50 says Iblis is a jinn, which automatically contradicts Quran 7:11

And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam," and they prostrated, except for Iblees. He was of the jinn and departed from the command of his Lord. Then will you take him and his descendants as allies other than Me while they are enemies to you? Wretched it is for the wrongdoers as an exchange.

We have some problems now that a Muslim has to solve:

1)Satan is an angel and therefore not a jinn

2) Or he is a jinn and therefore not an angel, which makes Allah unjust for blaming him for not obeying a command given to the angels and not to the jinn.

Let us see how you will come out from this mess"

The US is itself double dealing with all the Muslims countries. It deserves what it gets from the Pakis.
I don't think Pakistan is running on American aid.
As long as the US remains in Afghanistan, it has to keep spending. An early exit will save the US billions of dollars that it keeps on wasting. The US is not sincere to Pakistan, so do not expect the Pakis to be sincere to US. Why should they be?
US does not owe Pakis a living. If not for US and Intl aid, Pakistan is incapable of sustaining itself. That country is suffering from hyper inflation and the people are feeling the pinch. In Karachi, you can have a man killed for $700.00 - thats all it takes.

Fire produces light whereas light or light sources do not necessarily produce fire.

Somehow, in "Allah's" matrix, this is THE difference between angels and jinn.

What does this have to do with what I wrote? I wrote: " That is correct and the game is valid.

How much aid is given to Pakistan by the US and a few other countries? It is silly and absurd to suggest that the country is run on foreign aid.

In the US, you can have a man killed for USD 10,000/- or less, because the American can pay more and the killer knows that he can get more.

My point was that America is not sincere with the Muslim world and that is a fact. It plays a double game, so Pakis can play the same game. So, there is no point in whining and ranting about it.

You know well that politics is dirty. Don't you? Politics cannot be played without bigotry. Diplomacy is a fine word for bigotry and double standards. It applies to all.

HughBe--- rabbi, be yourself. Truth and wisdom are not gifts given to you and other rabbis, speaking collectively.
Eric--I don't have a "Jewish Nose".
HughBe--- Some will say that such is the case because you are not a full Jew.
Oh, so that's how it goes, Hugh? Well stereotypes abound in this world:

All Blacks have broad noses and thick lips; All Blacks have the same skin pigmentation; All Blacks like fried chicken and watermelon; All Blacks have rhthym; All Blacks are good at sports, but when it comes to brains ........well you get the picture.

Stereotypes are horrible things.
