Who Is Allah?

Paris Hilton Shilling Handbags in Muslim Holy Site’s Shadow

Paris Hilton is currently facing some major backlash in Saudi Arabia. Hilton — the less-famous niece of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Kim and Kyle Richards — has just opened a store to sell her "handbags and accessories" at the Mecca Mall.
Hilton announced the opening of the store on her blog last week. Since then, many have fired back on Twitter, angry that Hilton would be allowed to open shop in Muhammad's birthplace and the holy mall which houses only holy institutions such as KFC and Hardee's. The angry tweets mostly focus on her porn star past, according the New York Daily News saying things like:
"Saudi claim there are other ways to allow for pilgrims, & if religiosity is of such importance, why is @ParisHilton being allowed a store in Mecca?"
"How can someone who made such a video open a store in the holy city next to the Grand Mosque? It is not acceptable to have such a woman open her store here."
Hilton herself has not responded to the criticism, but has said this:

Worth reading:
International law, the Gaza war, and Palestine's state of exception
http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/opinion/2012...
Excerpt:
The fundamental purpose of IHL (Int'l Humanitarian Law) is to protect civilians and minimise avoidable harm during armed conflicts. Under IHL, five core principles govern what conduct is lawful in armed conflict. Violations of these constitute grave breaches and thus can be considered war crimes. These principles are: civilian immunity (ie, the prohibition against intentionally targeting civilians or otherwise treating them as combatants); distinction (ie, the imperative to distinguish between civilians and combatants in military operations, and for combatants to distinguish themselves as such through identifiable dress and insignia and by carrying arms openly); proportionality (ie, the requirement to use force in a manner that is proportionate to the military value of the target); necessity (ie, the obligation to restrict targets or tactics to those necessary to achieve legitimate military goals); and humane treatment (ie, the prohibition of torture, inhumane and degrading treatment of prisoners, and the imperative to guard the rights and interests of "protected persons", the legal term for civilians in occupied territories).
...
Hamas and other Palestinian groups' attacks on Israel, from suicide bombings of the 1990s and early 2000s to today's rocket fire, have routinely failed to comport with these principles. Can any different be said about Israel's conduct in Gaza?
Israel has not only refused to respect the principles of civilian immunity and distinction but has openly disregarded both as a matter of policy. At the start of Operation Pillar of Defence, officials declared their intention to target any variety of sites including the homes of Hamas activists. In Gaza, one of the more densely populated areas in the world, most homes - including those where people Israel deems legitimate targets reside - are shared by non-combatants and civilians.
Interesting that Aljazeera has become more fair and balanced in the last five years. I guess they discovered that their rabid support of Hamas has been shown to be unsupported by fact. They're starting to sound more and more like NPR - at least it's a move in the right direction.

Gazans have been broadcasting that Israeli cities are in shambles and the Israeli have been conquered. It sounds like the propaganda during the 6 Day Way. Now they're celebrating by shooting in the air - a bullet got at least one of their own on the return trip. Someone needs to explain gravity.

In the meantime, IDF drops leaflets (as they did in Cast Lead)
"The first leaflet:

To the residents of Sheikh Ajlin, Tel Al-Hwa, Rimal South, Zeitoun, Sjaiya, Turkeman and Sajiya Jadida: For your safety, you are required to evacuate your residences immediately and move towards the central Gaza city, via Al-Khara, Jma’at Al Dul Al Arabia, Al Aqsa Al Qudsiya, Um Alaimoun, Salah A-din, Al-Maqsurra, Hal’s Mjdad. In the central Gaza city, you are required to stay between the areas of Salah A-din from the west, Amar Al-Muchtar from the north, Al-Nasser from the east and Al-Quds St. from the south.

Israel Defense Forces.

The second leaflet:

To the residents of of the outskirts of Shati, Al-Atatra, Beit Lahiya and Beit Hanoun: for your safety, you are required to evacuate your residences immediately and move towards central Gaza city via Al-Falujah, Al-Udda and Salah A-din. In the central Gaza city, you are required to stay between the roads of Salah A-din from the west, Amar Al-Muchtar from the north, Al-Nasser from the east and Al-Quds St. from the south.

Israel Defense Forces."

Unfortunately, the terrorists can also read. They holed up until the cease fire began. Then they came out and fired off a couple of rockets sans warning leaflets.

The IDF drops the leaflets for the sake of the freaking lawyers, but the leaflets also serve as recruitment tools for CIVILIAN NON-COMBATANT human shield volunteers, the very folks who prize dying "in the cause of Allah" above all other considerations.

What about children who are deliberately placed in harm's way? Well, they'll appreciate the sacrifices of their lives "for the cause of Allah and His Messenger" later, in Islamic heaven.

In reading I came across the quote below and the truth is I am not surprised based on my acquired knowledge.

In Josephus Antiquities II.XV.2, the footnotes No.2 reads:

"Why our Masorete copy so GROUNDLESSLY abridges this account in Exodus 12:40, as to ascribe 430 years to the sole peregrinations of the Israelites in Egypt- when it is clear, even by the Masorete chronology elsewhere as well as from the express text itself in the Samaritan, Septuagint, and Josephus, that they sojourned in Egypt but half that time and that in consequence, the other half of their peregrinations was in the land of Canaan before they came into Egypt - is hard to say".

Hamas Charter
http://www.thejerusalemfund.org/www.thejerusa...

Article Seven: The Universality of Hamas

By virtue of the distribution of Muslims, who pursue the cause of the Hamas, all over the globe, and strive for its victory, for the reinforcement of its positions and for the encouragement of its Jihad, the Movement is a universal one. It is apt to be that due to the clarity of its thinking, the nobility of its purpose and the loftiness of its objectives. It is in this light that the Movement has to be regarded, evaluated and acknowledged. Whoever denigrates its worth, or avoids supporting it, or is so blind as to dismiss its role, is challenging Fate itself. Whoever closes his eyes from seeing the facts, whether intentionally or not, will wake up to find himself overtaken by events, and will find no excuses to justify his position. Priority is reserved to the early comers. Oppressing those who are closest to you, is more of an agony to the soul than the impact of an Indian sword.
...
Hamas is one of the links in the Chain of Jihad in the confrontation with the Zionist invasion. It links up with the setting out of the Martyr Izz a-din al-Qassam and his brothers in the Muslim Brotherhood who fought the Holy War in 1936; it further relates to another link of the Palestinian Jihad and the Jihad and efforts of the Muslim Brothers during the 1948 War, and to the Jihad operations of the Muslim Brothers in 1968 and thereafter. But even if the links have become distant from each other, and even if the obstacles erected by those who revolve in the Zionist orbit, aiming at obstructing the road before the Jihad fighters, have rendered the pursuance of Jihad impossible; nevertheless, the Hamas has been looking forward to implement Allah’s promise whatever time it might take. The prophet, prayer and peace be upon him, said: The time will not come until Muslims will fight the Jews (and kill them); until the Jews hide behind rocks and trees, which will cry: O Muslim! there is a Jew hiding behind me, come on and kill him! This will not apply to the Gharqad, which is a Jewish tree (cited by Bukhari and Muslim).
__________
Thank you, Mohammad/Allah, for giving your slaves such bloody superstitious marching orders in their universal confrontation with the Zionist invasion.

Iranian death fatwas issued on Muslims and non-Muslims
http://www.thecommentator.com/article/1254/ir...

ranian rap artist, Shahin Najafi, has been condemned to death for insulting a Shia Imam.

After finding success in the underground music scene in Tehran, Najafi was forced to leave his native country and to make a new home for himself in Cologne, Germany. Following the release of his new song, Naghi, in which he insults Imam Hadi, Iranian Grand Ayatollahs responded by issuing a series of statements and fatwas. German police have assisted Najafi in going into hiding, but, as yet, politicians in Germany have failed to react to this affront on freedom.

Ayatollah Safi Golpayegani was first asked about Sharia law concerning "counter-revolutionary mercenaries" abroad who insulted and poked fun at Imam Hadi. In response, he said, in a short and clear fatwa, that "if they have violated the honor of the Imam and insulted him, they are apostates." Every Muslim is aware that the punishment for apostates is death.

Some Revolutionary Guards with connections to the news agency, Farsnews, proceeded to single out Shahin Najafi as such an apostate and demanded his execution. Another news agency, Shia Online, put a US $100,000 bounty on Najafi’s head and indicated that the money came from an Arab supporter living in the Persian Gulf.

The second fatwa, issued by Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi, makes explicitly clear that non-Muslims will be executed if they "insult" the Imams and the Prophet.

Ayatollah Shirazi was asked:
"Given the fact that Shahin Najafi, a singer based abroad, has insulted Imam Ali al-Hadi al-Naghi in his song and in pictures; given the fact that he has reviled the dome of the holy mosque of Imam Ali Mussa al Reza; and given the fact that the music and images are available on high-traffic websites, please let us know which answer the Sharia of Shia gives in this regard."

Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi’s fatwa stated the following:

"If any abuse of the immaculate Imams and any obvious insult to them is committed by a Muslim, this person becomes an apostate. If this act is committed by a non-Muslim, he is considered a Sab ul Nabi, an insulter of the Prophet."

Ayatollah Sobhani has stated that the new fatwas are the continuation of those against Salman Rushdie, infamously directed from Ayatollah Khomeini. Meanwhile Ayatollah Elmolhoda stressed that the Fatwas are not enough and that action should be taken. Disturbingly, the German weekly, Spiegel online, reported that an Iranian Consulate employee in Munich has distributed the Fatwas in Germany.

RIGHTS OF THE IMAMS
http://www.maaref-foundation.com/english/ethi...

The Immaculate Imams of the Ahl ul-Bayt (a) preceded everyone else in the fields of virtue and perfection and won the loftiest honor of lineage and ranks. They were brought up in the houses of the Prophet’s successor, grew up under the shadow of the divine mission, and received the facts and principles of Islam from their great grandfather, and, hence, became the heirs of his knowledge, keepers of his wisdom, protectors of his code, and his auspicious representatives.

For sake of supporting the religion and guarding Muslims, they presented unparalleled examples of jihad—they sacrificed themselves for sake of God until they won martyrdom in the cause of the belief and principles. They had no fear of anyone's accusation s and they were not deceived by the false vanities of this worldly life. Their rights against Muslims are too numerous to be counted. I, however, may refer to some of them in the following points:

1. Recognition of the Imams
The two major sects of Islam relate uninterruptedly the following hadith:

“He who dies before he recognizes the Imam of his age is reckoned with those who died before Islam.”

Since the Imam is the Prophet’s representative who conveys the laws of Sharia, it is obligatory upon every Muslim to recognize him so that the belief and Sharia will be deliberately understood and the true guidance will be pursued.

In case a Muslim neglects the recognition of the Imam, he will surely go astray from the course of Islam and, thus, will die as disbeliever and hypocrite.

Returning to the aforementioned hadith, it refers to the necessity of the existence, as well as recognition, of the Imam all over lifetime, because attaching the Imam to the age requires continuity of Imamate and its renewal all over times and ages. In t he same manner, many hadiths that are related by both sects of Muslims confirm the necessity of recognizing the Immaculate Imams and taking them as guides. For instance, the Prophet (s) is related to have said:

“With every generation, there must be decent individuals from my household whose mission will be to save this religion from the distortion of the deviants, the alteration of the wrong, and the misrepresentation of the ignorant. Your Imams are your representatives before Allah. You therefore should select proper representatives.”

“This religion will continue to exist up to the coming of the Hour of Resurrection, and there will exist twelve successors, as leaders—all will be from the tribe of Koreish.”

This hadith is clear-cut evidence on the unquestionable existence of the twelve Imams of the Ahl ul-Bayt (a) exclusively. Because they were more than this fixed number, neither the Umayyad nor are the Abbasid caliphs included.

Cont.

2. Loyalty to the Imams
Recognition of the Imams is meaningless unless loyalty to them is added. In other words, if recognition of the Imams is bare of loyalty to them, it will be worthless. This is because the Imam, whose mission is to confirm the realities of Sharia, elucidate its rulings, guard it against trickeries and false interpolations of the atheists, and exert all efforts for protecting, supporting, and pleasing Muslims spiritually and materially in this world as well as the life to come, is the Prophet’s representative and the pioneer towards the Islamic idealities. Such being the case, any negligence of the loyalty to the Imam will lead to deviation. This fact was frequently confirmed by the Prophet (s) who, in more than one occasion, declared that the right guidance and triumph will completely accompany the loyalty to the Immaculate Imams, while deviation will be the share of him who leaves and dissents from them:

“The like of my the Ahl ul-Bayt is Noah’s ark—he that embarks on it will be saved, while he that falls behind will be sunk.”

“I will leave with you things that will save you from deviation so long as you adhere to: the Book of Allah, which is a cord extended from the heavens to the earth, and my family—the Ahl ul-Bayt. These two will never depart each other until they join me on the Divine Pool. Consider how you will regard me through them.”

On the authority of his fathers, Imam as-Sadiq narrated that Amir ul-Mu'minin (a), once, was asked about the meaning of ‘my family’ in the Prophet’s saying,‘I will leave with you the two weighty things: the Book of Allah and my family’?

He answered:“This refers to me, al-Hassan, al- Hussein, and the nine Imams from the descendants of al-Hussein. The ninth will be al-Mahdi al-Qa’im. They will not contradict the Book of Allah, and the Book of Allah will not contradict them until they will join the Prophet (s) on His Pool.”

This hadith substantiates the fact that the Ahl ul-Bayt and the holy Quran are full twins that never depart each other. Like the Quran’s being the constitution and the argument against Muslims, an imam from the Ahl ul-Bayt (a) must exist in every age to hold the position of Muslims’ leadership and guide them to prosperity. The Prophet (s) said:

“He who desires to live like me, die like me, and be taken to the paradise of eternity of which my Lord has promised me, must be loyal to Ali and his descendants, for they will never take you out of the door of right guidance and will never take you to a door of deviation.”

HughBe--- I cannot speak for ALL Christians as you have done as there are many diverse beliefs in Christianity. These differences are MAJOR e.g. day of worship meaning to worship on Saturday or Sunday, eating clean meat as opposed to eating all meat, observance of the appointed feasts in the bible as opposed to Christmas etc. and finally and MOST importantly the issue of the divinity of Jesus. So don't make generalize statements about Christians.

HughBe--- EVIL is EVIL in God's eyes as well as my eyes. The massacres of Palestinians is EVIL. Now the use of the word massacre is that of an Israeli whose father was a general in the army of Israel and who comes from a Zionist family. Video to be provide.

Now, YOUR own country has been involved in the MASSACRE of Christians. Tell me about the Spanish Inquisition and how many Christians were killed.

In our lifetime, the US FALSELY accused Saddam of having WMD and invaded Iraq. I have heard that the operation first called OIL cost the lives of ONE MILLION Iraqis. Was it worth the while? Whose interest was served by the MASSACRE of so many Iraqis?
